Agreed, they have been super reliable over the years and if you fuck up, do it properly and on the first rally. Boys will definitely gather themselves, do proper analysis and rise from here.

Fourmeaux probably puncture.

"The first stage was probably the most easy I have ever done in Monte-Carlo! I knew that my time was okay there and for the second stage my tyre compound was a good choice. I was confident and comfortable, the car was set up quite soft for this evening which worked very well in the tricky conditions. I focussed on reading the road conditions and obviously that worked."

"It was hard. We heard from the weather crew that it was freezing and there was quite a lot of black ice, but it was even more challenging than I anticipated. In any car I would have done the same - my plan was always to get through. Of course it is never easy in a new car, but generally it was just my rhythm."
Not the best, but very good splits from Oliver down the field. BTW he starts with 4min gap
Tonight has showed how much Meeke, latvala & mikkelsen will be missed from this years championship. Take top 5 drivers out off it and the overall quailty is pretty poor.

Missing both! Something did feel lacking after watching the first 4/5 drivers through the stage tonight. No Mikkelsen, Latvala, Meeke..., even Paddon, Breen, Ostberg who are all very good drivers. Was hoping one of the Finns could surprise but obviously the Msport cars had other ideas.
Hopefully when we get further into the season things will change when the likes of Latvala and maybe Mikkelsen/ Paddon/ Breen and Meeke (if he gets Portugal or Germany) show up on a few events to add more quality depth to the entry list.
So, only surprise for me after the two stages is that it wasn’t Ogier who usually takes advantage of conditions like this. It seems him and Ott need more time in their new cars with conditions like this.
Otherwise all like I expected. Mega time from Neuville on the second one, quite nice lead already for tomorrow.
Tomorrow stages had most the snow if I remember right?
Looks like Evans and Ogier Yaris not setup right for this kind of conditions and makes a confidence troubles for both
