Well he was a lot quicker here than Korge, whilst Korge lasted.

One more thing to consider; Gryazin was on Pireli tyres and most top crews were on Michelin. Could this have helped?

I have seen Gryazin on fast part of one stage. It has nothing to do with tyres, in that time (second leg) him and Lappi were driving much more precisely and faster than other drivers...

Cool, he is doing an excellent job considering he is driving for a private team. I thought he was pretty respectable on Janner too, will be interesting to see if he keeps developing this year.

Did he have a "long" gearbox in Latvia? I know at one stage he was running a short one which was clearly not ideal.

He was with short gearbox all the time.
