Did you guys hear the Subaru tech on radio, trying to reject the blames that the oil cooler wasn't properly secured?

Got the part where Paul Howart said that they could run the car for 20years and it would most likely never happen again.

I may be totaly wrong about this but i think the oilcooler sits inside one of the carboncovers in the front on iether side and gets air from the intake on the side of the bumper so it's very unlikely a stone could get in there and brake a blade on the fan wich made the hole in the cooler

Very dangerous. Can anyone remember a rally worse than this. Gates closed, rocks thru' windscreens and small stone walls!!!!
