Pascal Enjolras will drive a 207 S2000 from the MES(his father's team)on next week's Criterium des Cévennes(penultimate round of the french tarmac rallies championship) !!! :bounce: :bounce:
He clearly won't be able to fight with the three usual whales of the championship, but why not a big fight with the main actors of the Michelin trophy(driving 306 Maxis and Toyota Celica GTs) :D ;)
When I've got the entrylist of the Cévennes rally(should be tomorrow)I create a thread for the event ;)
According to http://www.rallyes.net Carlos Sainz could drive a Polo S2000 at the Rallye Shalymar in Spain :D

The car was in left hand drive spec which tells me that they are seeking full FIA homologation.
I unfortunately did not get a chance to take any pics of the car, but it is very good looking and a good build quality.
The car had a problem on day 1 and only completed 3 stages, however was sorted out and finished day 2 . I think this is very good considering the extreme rain and mud experienced on the event.
Jan Habig and Douglas Judd in an S2000 works Polo won the South African championships. Going into the last round, 4 teams all in S2000's had a chance of winning.
If only there were also 207s and Grande Puntos on south african championship... :mark:
