im thinking more Suninen/Camilli...3rd car being shared like in Hyundai with Paddon and Sordo...We know there have been some talks that Suninen will do 6 rounds or so.

It has to be split between Suninen and Camilli, no room for Östberg there. Probably the best solution would be doing it like Hyundai, i.e. Camilli driving the same rallies as Sordo and Suninen matching Paddon. And for Suninen it would be good to do atleast Monte with R5 Fiesta in addition to all WRC outings.
Now the web article has arrived: https://www.motorsport-news.co.uk/ne...ts-ogier-deal/
Camilli? Well, maybe he deserves a second chance, effort. But doubt he´ll succeed. Third car will be a decider who pays most money. At least four drivers, maybe five, to be possible in 3rd car.

Pirelli was sponsor of Kalle Rovanpëra too
Huge congrats for Mr. Wilson and all MSport staff. They totally deserve to keep Ogier and get a wider support from Ford. Still believing Ford announcement will happen any time soon; most likely, we’ll have a Ford/MSport World Rally Team entry since MC.
Btw, Ogier’s words about money not being the only issue on other teams discussions makes sense; he probably asked for changes in Citroen Racing structure and a number one status in Hyundai and Toyota cases...
i would rather see him to a normal ss and not to a go-kart circuit.
It's test for a show event not for a true rally.

Nice surprise. The Autosport award was presented to Ogier by Robert Kubica.
"As a rally driver you need to be a much more flexible driver, you have to adapt to different conditions - the conditions are never the same.
As a circuit driver you have to be very precise, very consistent. As a rally driver you cannot do that.
I had chance to win an F1 race but I didn't have chance to win a [WRC] rally." - said Kubica.

big Ford logo at backround...
Rally Argentina plate on the car. Big Ford logo in the background though guys. So an announcement must be coming...
Why Rally Argentina? hummm
And possibly to give a taxi run for some sponsors and friends without putting them in any sort of danger.
If anything he'll be in a fourth car. He just doesn't make the cut. Neither does Camilli. I think Østberg and Suninen will share the third car. Also, isn't a switch to Pirelli too much of a risk for any of the manufacturers? If they are even slightly off the pace of Michelin that's that for both championships.
Bertelli does not need M-Sport and even less does M-Sport need Bertelli. His drives are not related to the line-up of the manufacturer's points scoring team of M-Sport.
