First three stages of Targa Florio (CIR) were finished, in the lead Luca Rossetti. Second place in the hands of Simone Cempedelli.
Tomorrow the event starts early in the morning, looking forward to it....
after 7 stages Rosseti still leads Cambedelli with 7,2 sec

Rossetti lost the lead to Cambedelli after engine turned off midstage
Trails with 15,8 sec now
Fearsome battle for the 2nd position between Rossetti and Crugnola! Just 0,5 sec is separating those two drivers-and one stage to the finish line.
Rossetti wins the last stage, but it is Simone Campedelli and his orange Ford Fiesta R5 who wins the 103rd edition of Rally Targa Florio. Congratulations!!!
Rossetti finishes in the second position, 11 seconds behind Campedelli. Crugnola (Polo R5) is third and Basso only 4th.

Huge congrats to Simone & Tania from my side!! After 23 years since last Ford victory on Targa Florio (Cunico with Escort Cosworth) Cempedlli managed to bring victory to Ford! But, Rossetti was very fast those two days and this is even better forecast for next events.
Basso seemed a bit lost on Sicilian tarmac, but I do not doubt that he will push again for the victory already on next event.
Nice battle also in R2 class between new generation (Panzani with new Fiesta) and ''writting off generation'' (Ciuffi with P208); this time Ciuffi was faster.
M-Sport:
Looking back to Europe, a massive congrats to @SimoCampedelli and Tania Canton on their victory @TargaFlorioOff. The result puts the Ford Fiesta R5 crew into the lead of the Italian Championship, and it's the first time the Blue Oval has won the event in more than 20 years! :champion:
