only subjective of course, but I just didn't see it proper to mention it considering their results

Without meaning to do it it just seems like you are putting words in people's mouths. I think if you have a choice to watch Evans or Latvala going testing on Finnish roads 99% of fans would pick Latvala.
He's the defending winner, in the best car - it's just natural. Doesn't mean anyone is saying anything against Evans.
In my opinion the main "problem" with that road is that it likely has very steep slope. As a result it means he needs to brake very rarely when going downhill and go as efficient as possible without any slides when going uphill. That's just my guessing based on the experience that slope is very much deformed on videos and that I have seen Fabia R5 (and Kopecký) already a lot of times.
So I guess Tidemand will not do Germany? He's won his class there for the last two years. I get that Kopecky is a more natural choice but it would be interesting to see Pontus on tarmac again.
I think that Pontus will do at least one of the remaining asphalt rounds but Germany will not be the one. It will be interesting to see Kopecký in Germany too. It has been eight year already since he was there for the last time (and when he finished 5th overall with in that time already outdated Fabia WRC!)
