He should use Ucci car for the final ERC rounds...Racing Lions is proving to be a step ahead of Saintéloc!
I saw more of the Fabia R5 in the Barum preview programme that I did the whole WRC2 season so far. Just saying...
Lukyanuk will be in Cyprus.
Thanks to RPM team and in cooperation with Eurosport and Cyprus rally organizers.
Great news :)
According to the interview on Eurosport Kajto has budget for two more rallies this year. Most probably those rallies will be Cyprus and Acropolis:

An interesting fragment from the interview. Kajto compares ERC with WRC2:
ERC is a championship that developed me enormously as a driver. All the rounds are very diversified and not easier than in the WRC at all. You can see it on the example of Jan Kopecky. In Rallye Deutschland he knocked out all the competition in WRC2, but on his home ground - in Barum Rally - it wasn't so easy for him.
I checked out the results of both rallies and Kajto seems to be right.
Rallye Deutschland - WRC2 results:
1. Kopecký Jan - Dresler Pavel Škoda Fabia R5 3:47:18.8
2. Camilli Eric - Veillas Benjamin Ford Fiesta R5 +4:13.8 !!!
3. Giordano Quentin - Sarreaud Valentin Citroën DS3 RRC +6:14.7 !!!
(...)
10. Maurin Julien - Klinger Nicolas Ford Fiesta RRC +28:21.0 !!!

2. Pech jun. Václav - Uhel Petr Mini Cooper S2000 1.6T +27.3

There is 4 minutes of difference between the first and the second-placed driver on Rallye Deutschland.
The driver from the 10th position on Barum Rally would be 3rd in Rallye Deutschland ;)
The driver from the 10th position on Rallye Deutschland would be in 49th position on Barum Rally ;)
What a level of competition! :)
Will be a pity not to see Kajto in Valais, maybe he'll be able to find the budget if the title is still open by then?
I get what you're trying to say but you've massively over-simplified the situation.
The level of WRC2 is not very high. I don't think anyone is denying that. After the top talents there is a real drop-off in ability - but at least you have a decent championship battle across the course of a season. Albeit a battle that no one can see unless you're actually on the stages.
The ERC can give you a bigger fight on some individual rallies and obviously you are competing for the overall win. ERC benefits from lots of local talent in places like Estonia, Barum, Ireland etc. But let's not kid ourselves - move these drivers out of their home specialized rallies and and for the most part they would nowhere.
Just look at the championship tables and of both and then talk about level of competition.
