c) He has a fast twin brother :-)
btw. He was 6th in Rally Estonia 2013, just behind Timmu Kõrge..who was driving Evo9..
Well he was a lot quicker here than Korge, whilst Korge lasted.
One more thing to consider; Gryazin was on Pireli tyres and most top crews were on Michelin. Could this have helped?

The end of the video is Epic!
And on Gryazin thing.. to make things even more complicated.. Kõrge was running on Hankook tyres and it seems these are not so good on soft-fresh snow.

Did enough to win the event, what else is needed? That is the way to win a championship, you need to win just by 1sec, not 10min. And I was under the inpression that road conditions on day 1 played a huge part

Slow down :D
But yes, what I liked about him is that he also seemed enthusiastic and happy this weekend. As has been said, this was the event he would have been expected to win. Let's see how he does on the other events, but I think he is probably favourite for the title as he will have the support to do it and a reliable and fast car (unless the 208 is something amazing)
Yes, I also think that Lappi is main candidate for the title, but his success depends on two factors:
1) how good 208 R5 is
2) how good is the chicken business this year (is Bouffier in or out of the championship?) :)
3rd factor is if 208 drivers are good too. Breen I'm not sure about but hopefully will get better, Bouffier will be very good if, as you say, he gets the opportunity/budget and maybe one or two other drivers will be able to make a difference too in customer/PH/etc 208s.

I also think that Bouffier can win the title. I'm starting eating chickens from tomorrow morning ;)
