Summer has been pretty wet and if it rains a lot this week the fields used for parking may turn out to be too wet. Better to prepare for the worst case that is a walk of few kilometers. 2008 there were 15000 people at kakaristo and now even more is possible. If the weather is goog they are expecting 50-100 000 rally fans to Ouninpohja stage! ;)

At Ouninpohja start. No sign of Henning... Otherwise it was relaxed feeling among the drivers. Ken Block getting to know Ouninpohja for the first time - first time in Finland for him as well.

Esapekka Lappi's recce car :-) Sure it sticks out from all the polished 4WD of the big boys...

Also was interesting to notice how Loeb & Hirvonen arrived to recce start later than pretty much anyone else from top drivers. Loeb was perhaps the last to start the first recce run, meaning he could already see where other drivers have "tried" to cut. They both also stayed concentrated inside their cars, Ogier also, whereas Ford boys and most of the rest of the field were out of the cars having a chat.

Abbring was also doing recce in VW's car. Few other recce-only crews, but didn't recognize them.

E-P's recce car was in upper class if compares few WRC Academy guys recce cars... ;-)
might be funny to knew where they found it... Some car dealer smiling wide somewhere..
Like Ford escort stw, about 1990 with studless winter tire..

Loeb and Mikko was in first ten group yesterday.
It was nice to take "face shots" instead of cars, everyone looks happy, that's great

This is another reason for me to be a fan of Loeb. He is a few months older than me.
