Congratulations of the Slovene crew Humar-Cevc with the r2 car, which was faster than all home Italian crews in this class, came, saw and won.
Lindholm got 2 punctures, without those fastest non Skoda driver.
Aftera summer break, the Italian WRC championship is going to be contiuined this week-end around Friuli.
The list for modern cars looks more than promissing:
http://www.rallyalpiorientali.it/A18...%20Moderne.pdf
This time Rossetti has no chance for overal victory, Albertini & Corrado Fontana and Manuel Sossela are to strong with their WRC machinery. I hope that Perico will be at least a bit up against Rossetti, otherwise Rossetti has nobody to fight with in R5 class.
And you were right. Albertini and his Ford Fiesta WRC win the rally, Rossetti 4th overall.
Final results Rally del Friuli Venezia Giulia:
1° Stefano Albertini - Danilo Fappani su Ford Fiesta WRC
2° Corrado Fontana - Nicola Arena su Hyundai i20 WRC a 15.9 secondi
3° Manuel Sossella - Gabriel Falzone su Ford Fiesta WRC a 43.1 secondi
4° Luca Rossetti - Eleonora Mori su Hyundai i20 R5 a 43.7 secondi
5° Paolo Porro - Paolo Cargnelutti su Ford Fiesta WRC a 44.4 secondi
6° Alessandro Perico - Mauro Turati su Skoda Fabia R5 a 1 minuto e 51,9 secondi
7° Andrea Carella - Enrico Bracco su Peugeot 208 R5 a 3 minuti e 33,2 secondi
8° Lorenzo Della Casa - Luca Beltrame su Ford Fiesta WRC a 6 minuti e 25,3 secondi
9° Matteo Daprà - Fabio Adrian su Skoda Fabia S2000 a 7 minuti e 42 secondi
10° Giampaolo Bizzotto - Sandra Tommasini su Peugeot 207 S2000 a 7 minuti e 52,5 secondi

The next round of Italian rally championship is Rally Adriatico. This rally will see a comeback of the famous pair Andreucci/Andreussi, after their serious crash before Rally di Roma. Entry list is here:
https://www.rallylink.it/pdf/2018/adriatico_2018.pdf
This event has a coeff.1,5, therefore special atention for Cempedelli and Scandola is required-they can not afford retirement. Andreucci will sweep the stages (Nb.1), so he can only dream winning it. Scandola is a clear favorite, this time he has even advantage in tyres (D-Mack).
This is so good news the return of Anna :bounce:
Interesting to see Eerik Pietarinen back as "teammate" of Ucci ;)
Emil Lindholm leads after SS3 with Hyundai, very good start from him.
