Seeing what Breen and Abbring are currently doing in Acropolis today saturday, I only can hope Andreucci with more time to test the 208 T16 will impress us in Sanremo next week :D
Yeah ....what about the cooling issues ? this is still happening and had been from the start and its still not sorted . Its nearly going on now with a year . The DS3 R5 is delayed again . I hear from ' The Twitter machine ' Juilan Porter was saying that Abbrings car was smelling all day (over heating ?) ... this isn't good for the people that are awaiting their cars that are on order ...
I guess Meeke won't be doing COI in the DS3 R5 then :(
Rudy Michelini's DS3 R5 is ready(with livery on it) :bounce:

I edit a bit the link provided by Tom...here

So they have the car but it is not homologated yet??
Maybe it will be interesting for some:
Peugeot has two homologated ratios for gearboxes - 173kmh and 198 kmh. They say to reach max speed on long one takes very, very long so it's not always useful, but at least some option.
Fiesta has only one ratios as for now - 177kmh.
It will be interesting to read opinions of people from our Forum who took a ride in R5 cars before Acropolis.
br21 : Do You know the power curve of Fiesta? From this it looks like the power peak in Fiesta is much closer to the rpm limiter than with Peugeot.
Thanks
Is some our forum member on the test?

Polo R5 in VW plans?
It's April 1st joke ;) All what is signed -apr- at the bottom.
The Fabia R5 sound reminds me a lot of the Octavia WRC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uzjPGhbEOs
Fiesta R5 LPG or GPL are homologated by FIA now: http://autosport.pt/fiesta-r5-a-gas-...as-fia=f120658
Skoda Fabia R5 gravel tests in Greece:

I still believe it will be homologated 01.01.2015, or March at the latest and not "mid 2015" as Skoda say.
The car looks good already and they have 8 months until January. I hope the success of Peugeot might make them hurry things up a bit lol.
I don't know but it looks similar to the road they used for the S2000 tests pre-rally?

this video i posted seems that is the same road as Acropolis.Watch the work by loaders/bulldozers at the edge of the road.
I am not 100% sure,i know that from Monday are near Loutraki and testing. Will be silly to dont test at a Sundays part of some stage, when it was easy to lap times of 208 Peugeot and fiesta r5 cars.
As i know i will confirm it.
he knows but cant tell it.http://www.4tforum.gr/phpBB3/images/smilies/rtfm.gif

My video from yesterday R5 test in greece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hoD...ature=youtu.be
But VW could put the R5 stuff almost right into a Polo, before the new Fabia roadcar is on the street?? And then we will have couple of new twins as the 208 and DS3!
That's not the problem. Production of Fabia III is going to start during Q3. 2500 pieces is circa one week production. The car already exists for many months and is being tested in secrecy (I mean stock one). I would not be surprised if they already tested R5 in new shell too. Only a fraction of tests is public.
Some time a go I heard about Polo R5 being developed for VW South Africa independently from Škoda but I don't know if that was true.
Once more Fabia R5 in Greece

You forgot to tell that 25 000 cars of the same family must also have been produced.

For some peculiar way I’ve missed this page and post (below). I couldn’t find this customer information, only a purchase order form. The price includes also the standard road car parts but what other parts has to be removed from the list before the price is down to 180.000 €? €? I assume the price also includes some training & instructions for assembling the car and some documentations.
