Edit: oops my news isn't recent enough... :mark:
Go read the "One make cup" thread: there are some great news from Opel(General Motors)coming to France ;)
Next week in France there are the first(snowy)rallies of the season, the Ronde du Jura and the rallye Neige des Hautes-Alpes ;)
Edit: I don't mention this week's Monte-Carlo and next week's Monte-Carlo Historique, because Monaco isn't France :p :
But the stages are in France... :)Quote:

Fantastic news for french tarmac rallies championship this year !!! :bounce:
It has just been created a new championship(in the championship ;) )dedicated to the constructors, in 2WD class(either GrR or others)...
hum ... I hope some constructors will enters official 2WD cars. I think Renault will enter a R2 for Jérémy Serieys due to his victory in French Junior champ, but don't know for the other ...
I hope a title for drivers too ...
Just look at the point system for manufacturer champ :
2 categories :
- one for R2, R3, N4 2WD (Mégane RS...)
- one for R1
points : 3, 2, 1 for cat 1 and cat 2.
a bit strange ... why R2 is with R3 and N4 ? A third category for this class would have been logic ... but logic and FFSA :)
Jean-Marie Cuoq back to gravel championship at the wheels of Lethier's 206 WRC :bounce:
Nicolas Liron sold his Megane Maxi, and bought...a Toyota Corolla S2000 !!! :D
First ever car of this type in France... ;)
Corolla S2000 ? Where does he find it ? Czech ? Italy ? or South Africa ?
Do you know what rallies he will do ?
Good for gravel champ to see Cuoq there but ... there is no competition for him, and it's bad for tarmac champ :(
Edit : is it the 206 he drove in Cévennes in 2011 ?
Is it one of the R-E-D Toyotas that McRae drove?Quote:

Nice battle for the victory in Corsica(Rallye du Sartenais Valinco) after four stages :)
Classements
I think Pierre-Antoine Santoni will win :p :
he had a spin and lost many places ... victory for Alexandre Lanfranchi for his first drive in the 207. Before he drove only a small Saxo !
Vivens (the guy who impressed people here on last Critérium des Cévennes :) ) finished 2nd for one of his rare drive out of his region ! Guglielmi is third, but for sure disappointed, because Santoni was much faster ... as Vivens.
But the most disappointing driver here is Jean-Matthieu Leandri, quite unusual to see him so slow ...

And a news : Subaru Impreza WRC 03 from Barbara was bought by Jean-François Bérenguer. He will drive french gravel championship and some national races.
Berenguer was official driver for Citroen in the beginning of 2000's ! So for sure a good contender for Cuoq.
Thanks vino! However, I want to see uploaded the whole classification! :D
It was a puncture for Santoni in the last stage :(
Léandri had a technical problem on the first loop of stages of the rally... :mark:
So it must be this car:Quote:

Macek was a very slow driver. Let's hope that this Liron knows how to drive such car! :)
Here is a video from 2009 when Emil Triner tested the car of Macek. It was a bit faster driving ;)
Toyota Test Day (S2000, WRC) HD - YouTube
Well, Emil Triner is a completely different story :)
Belgian Kevin Demaerschalk's 2013 program will be the french Citroën Racing Tropy again(6 rounds)except Langres(he will be in Ypres instead) ;)
You forget to mention his new codriver: Renaud Jamoul, former codriver of Mathieu Arzeno. Arzeno will drive a different programme, no French DS3 Trophy anymore. Don't know more (yet). :)Quote:

It lasted so long years together... :mark:
Instead, Germain Bonnefis has been named Renault official driver in ERC(Megane RS N4)...
Guigou is a great driver, but he is 42 years old now, I think it's not bad to give the chance to a younger driver who still has the potential to improve. :)Quote:

Remains to be seen if Pol Lietaer will run RRN or Rally van Haspengouw
He has changed his mind and will run in Rally Haspengouw instead of Rally du NordQuote:

Lefèbvre 5th overall after first loop of stages(SS1, 2 and 3)Rallye des Routes du Nord, leading the field of 2WDs :bounce:
PatricK Soft
Lefèbvre lost a lot of time in SS4 Routes du Nord(+1'16") but then with a 4th best time on SS5 and a 3rd best time on SS6 last stage of leg, I'm confident he can be back first 2WDs after tomorrow sunday longer stages...it's a matter of time ;)
well, you forget to talk about Rallye des Côtes Fleuries, in Normandy. Big events too with Brunson, Barbara, Knapick, Lemonnier, Alemany, Martel and Robert :) I was there for the first time, instead of Route du Nord, and it was  best crews pushed a lot, it was beautiful to see ! Barbara isn't in his place in the Mini ... it was complicated for him. Brunson is Brunson, and Robert  But I think the most impressive were Lemonnier with his Evo X R4, and Martel with 207 S2000. Chauffray did really good drive too with his small Saxo, as his opponent in A6, Margely :p No regret for me to be there instead of Route du Nord.
Classification : Classement Rallye de la Côte Fleurie 2013
first stages were cancelled in RDN due to snow. But it that 6 last stages will be run :)
Lefevbre binned it!Quote:
