Its a pertinent question, but we must see that Citroën is competing it self with Citroën Sport department. Subaru and Ford have someone doing the job so, its not that strange seeing that.

About the tire, you are forgetting about what appened in 2005 with Peugeot. We must have present that Peugeot owns Citroën, even if their Sport departments are independent. But Citroën doesn´t do anything if Peugeot doesn´t give the OK! So, why would Peugeot turn to Pirelli, if Michelin was doing any "special" help to Citroën? Of course Peugeot would want to benefit of that "help" too! For me, its non sense saying that Citroëns advantage its because of any "help" from BF.

Will Citroën struggle with Pirelli? I don´t know, perhaps...but Ford has to change too.
