Slow down :D
But yes, what I liked about him is that he also seemed enthusiastic and happy this weekend. As has been said, this was the event he would have been expected to win. Let's see how he does on the other events, but I think he is probably favourite for the title as he will have the support to do it and a reliable and fast car (unless the 208 is something amazing)
He is in a good place to improve his tarmac skills. ERC champion this year, WRC with Fabia R5 in 2015 and then maybe promotion to VW sounds like a plan to me ;)

Yes, I also think that Lappi is main candidate for the title, but his success depends on two factors:
1) how good 208 R5 is
2) how good is the chicken business this year (is Bouffier in or out of the championship?) :)
Re: [ERC] Rally Liep?ja 2014 (31.1.-1.2. 2014)
broken fywheel for Orsak.
Re: [ERC] Rally Liep?ja 2014 (31.1.-1.2. 2014)
Interesting, that hasn't happened on Fabia since one bad batch from 2010 I think (or at least I haven't heard about it since then).
Gryazhin receives Colin McRae Flat Out Trophy.
Re: [ERC] Rally Liep?ja 2014 (31.1.-1.2. 2014)
I am wondering.. is it the same Gryazin I have seen driving on Estonian roads? Tooking sometimes strange lines, often going veery wide etc. There are three possibilities:
a) he has improved a lot
b) Lappi and all others are actually really slow drivers
c) He has a fast twin brother :-)
btw. He was 6th in Rally Estonia 2013, just behind Timmu Kõrge..who was driving Evo9..

If he can do enough events Bouffier can win the title (if he doesn't hit any more hay bails)... I have a feeling that ERC title could be his aim this year, he said "it would have been better to have started on Janner" which I took as a hint he is not just aiming for one or two events here and there.

so if somebody won against Gryazin is ready for wrc? stay calm. :D
I can stay calm. No problem. But that was what we discussed Lappi was to. Too calm. Now he was driving 100% until finish line, with a very good stagetime even when his rally was won stages before.
I´m sure his efforts brings him to WRC as well.
