At the first leg of stages Hirvonen looked really fast and the results show the same. Maybe he tried some new setups for 2nd pass, but he looked more cautious.
And I think that in this rally running 1st on the road was actually an advantage because the interval between cars was 1 min and in such a cold weather with no wind at all the snow dust was just staying on the road and making a bad visibility in some corners for the following cars.
Now really looking forward for Sweden!
