Olli Jokinen was totally shocked and thought they should have finished the game at once. God for bid Zednik managed to skate directly to the bench to get first aid and later on got a succesfull surgery.

I hope accidents like that never happen anymore.

My friends son Sami did play his first game in NHL for the Capitals last night, he got some reasonable minutes and powerplay too, not bad.

It was not quite as sickening as the Clint Malarchuk incident, but still, sick. Quite disturbing to watch.

Zednik was lucky actually, he could have easily have died had the cut been an inch to a different side.

Way to go Habs. Rangers was winning 5 to nothing but Habs woke up and won 6-5 in a shootout. And who other made the winning goal than le capitan himself, Saku Koivu :D

If I was Tom Renney, I would have made all those guys clean the toilets at MSG for 3 hours after that loss. No team loses a 5 goal lead, unless they completely stop working. Unacceptable.

It was almost as bad/embarrassing as finns losing to Sweden in Helsinki in world championship some years ago from a huge lead.

Surely evryone must agree that the best world championship/olympics was in 1936 when Great Britain were crowned CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD AHEAD OF CANADA AND USA
