Nice model that one Iain. I have all the Leons upto 2009. Late being released for some reason. Can anyone shed any light on that please???
You have all the 2006 and 2007 ones? Where do you get them from? I've been trying to complete my 2006 collection for a while, proving quite hard :( Plus I've NEVER seen any 2007 ones?!
As far as i know, the only 2007 Leon releases were Coronel and Corthals. No factory models though.
As for the 2009 ones, dont hold your breath. Seat sport models emailed me saying they hoped to have them out by next June!! No idea why its taking so long. Tim Coronels macau car is available on ebay though as it came with that magazine in Spain
Sorry Iain, I meant I have all Leons that have been released.
Just a quick note, on the SEAT Sport Models site, There are new sets of models including all 5 2008 models on one plinths for 235,95 EUROS. I might be abit hopeful, maybe desperate but on one of the it shows the 2009 WTCC Leon on the packaging. Could be coming soon?!
Paul Robson models has made one off decals in the past for me
If you are going to make a run of models then interdecal.com in France make them too
Hopefully not long till the Lada comes out
Just a query, I have just checked the dip models website and it says a Feb '11 release?Quote:

Signed Alain Menu Cruze
I see Rob Huff isn't so popular...

Also found that one. I'm highest bidder on both atm. Under £40 I think will be a bargain. Not going to stick in much higher though.
I'm not actually too fussed about having signed models when I didn't get them personally signed. I'm only going to get these if I see profitable resale..
It's a bit of a cheat really.. It's the case that is signed, not the model!
£40 is about right, some have been going for that on E-bay.
£45 and I'm out on the Menu one...interested to see how high it getsQuote:

I must admit, I do like the look of the 1/18 models that are about..
I've already got the unsigned ones! I was only interested if I was going to get it cheapish. I'll get mine signed personally at some point probably!
As you are the king of WTCC models... Am I right in saying they have not produced any 2010 Cruzes in 1/43???Quote:

That's interesting.. I shall hold back on my conversion then...Quote:

You mean the scale model manufactuer backed out? I guess the '09 Cruze didn't sell well enough to justify a '10 run?Quote:

They need some competition!
After extensive searching over a period of a couple of years I've managed to obtain 4 of the 6 2006 WTCC SEAT Leon factory team models. I have got/expect to get the following:
#2 Gabriele Tarquini
#9 Jordi Gene
#10 Peter Terting
#11 James Thompson
I would be very grateful if anyone knew where I could get the remaining two:
#3 Rickard Rydell
#12 Yvan Muller
Lada WTCC's from Dip Models due out next month now.
3 of them now:
221703 Ladygin
221704 Thompson
221705 van Lagen
Come across two YVAN MULLER Seat Leon WTCC 2006 models on ebay recently. Now that I've secured one of them myself I thought I'd share the link to the other one if anyone was interested.

Just need the Rickard Rydell 2006 car to complete the entire collection of every SEAT Super 2000 model ever made!
Anyone needing their Lada fix of diecasts will have to wait until April now! Still no sign of them at any retailer (which given they are part of Spark Model is slightly surprising).
my Tom Boardman Seat appeared today and it is superb. Detail is just great.
There is a base model Lada road car shown at model show in Germany, so hopefully the WTCC one will be with us soon as I can't wait to see it
Any news on the Lada model yet?
