I bought 1 built model and 2 pre painted models because I could not have done such a good job on the spraying but with the pre painted model the assembly is quite easy and the decals are very good quality so no problem at all, you do get the decals to do the 3 driver options as well and the model is better quality than spark. I realise that the pictures on the tin wizard site are not the best but that model was made quickly just to get it out and the wheels do fit tighter into the wheelarches to give you the correct ride height, I am very pleased with my models they are the best and almost rarest that I have
There's a reasonable chance that Spark may produce some BTCC models this year, with RAC running the 320is E90 which they already produce lots of WTCC examples.
That's true, we can buy all the BMW and Alfas we want, but not Accords or Seats? :(Quote:

Minichamps did produce some Brock 850 saloons. There have been a few on eBay recently.
Also some A4's from the ASTC, one included in the champions set from 96 i believe.
Yeah, I have the Brock one, but the '95 wagon with the Aussie flag was cool. So were the blue 850s. The red Brock 850 was very cool. I wanted a REAL red 850 so bad!! That would have been so cool, last year for them was '97 on that bodystyle in NA I believe.Quote:

Yes, but make sure you get a correct one.Quote:

The decals are from the earlier non aero aid BMWs, 94 was it...I believe, without any recent research?? :DQuote:

Yeah, I recall that website. There's now way to contact the website owner to make contributions/corrections or assist with pictures?Quote:

Never tried to be honest. I bet its getting on a bit now though (the website) and might well have no one running it these days anyway.Quote:

I have one, and it is a stunner...
I have my eye on that i must admit, but my real car needs to go to the garage next week and the eventual bill might put me off this Sierra.
I agree it's a great car. It might be worth holding off as I believe it's going to be re-issued by Trofeu along with the new models (87 & 88 Sierra's) see the link below frm Trax models
http://www.trax-models.co.uk/Trax/Pages/futuretour.html
It's been on there for a couple of years.
Good job I've already got it then!!! I wonder if the other models will ever be released then?Quote:

Never seen one before! Seems strange to make a model of John George's 406!
Perhaps they were more willing to cooperate with SCX or didn't ask for a huge licensing fee?Quote:

I did email Spark last year to ask about making Mark Smith's and Martyn Bell's cars (It was before Eoin Murray entered.) seeing as they already had the moulds, but they weren't interested.
If you look behind it to the left, you can see a 2001 406 Coupe also. Looks like the 111 Aaron Slight car.Quote:

Good find! Here's a better picture of Slight's car: http://www.brshobbies.com/catalog.ph...es/ct/pd427325Quote:

I take it there both Scaletrix models?
I have added yet another 1/43 BTCC car, a 1991 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, Rob Gravett, Trofue.
Gravett raced the Sierra RS in 1990!Quote:

It looks like someone has added a Motorpro (I think) decal sheets on to a RS body shell.Quote:

Do you have any pics of the actual car model? That is a nice find? Did you find it on ebay?Quote:

I have also seen a 91 Securicor M3 BMW with Soper's name on it!
That went for a lot of money even though Soper did not race that car in 91!
The car is a Trofue Sierra Cosworth replica, and it does look as though someone has just added the decalls to it, but i bought it as a novelty knowing full well it was not a genuine product, like i said i didnt pay very much for it at all.
I am a huge Sierra fan and have started to collect a few Sierra models too, (my BTCC collection is nearly complete) and this Gravet car fits into this collection nicely.

Thats a picture of the actual car, i will admit when i bought it i had forgotten that in 91 Gravet ran a Saphire Sierra, but i also realised it was not upto the usual Minichamps standard anyway, so it fitted into my Sierra/BTCC collection. I am pleased with it anyway, genuine or not, besides it was only 4 quid.

I have just seen this on ebay, doesn't for in my collection but I know a few of you are interested in this car (after looking back on this tread)
It does look a nice car.

It does look nice. Alot of money, but like you it doesn't fit into my collection anyway either.
Got it as part of my collection.
One for me to make later.. Would be interesting to see how much it sells for!

This is only my BTCC Models I have lot of DTM and other touring Championships. I will list them if Someone would like to see them as well.
Quite an impressive list considering how long you have been collecting.
If you look back through this post, most collectors have listed their collections.
As for models from other championships, there are other threads started that cover these.
WTCC.. http://btccpages.motorsportforum.com...d.php?t=112547
DTM.. http://btccpages.motorsportforum.com...d.php?t=114029

I see you have just added both the 1994 Volvo estates to your collection. I had my eye on them but just haven't the money at the moment!
