Ogier's comment at the end of ss4 ..... is ironic to whine when you're in first place.
I said last year and I say it again, quite a snooze fest stages, especially when you are coming from Croatia and IMO there isn’t place anymore in WRC for rallies like this, this circuit style
The only good thing are the views
WRC2 - big brother Yohan Rossel made his move on this one.
it seems that even neuville can't make the hyundai work anymore.
Lucky escape, especially that the escape road was wide with the emergency vehicles parked very close to the stage!

Corsica, what a beautiful rally, I've been there a few times in the 90s.
GC is a quite boring rally. Agree.
So far for some maybe it is but chuck some bad weather and punctures into the mix and the whole thing could change. Better consistent road surfaces than the lottery and shite on the roads of Croatia. Having driven the Gran Canaria roads and watched the event when it was part of the ERC, IMO its far from boring but each to their own.
I'm more interested in the WRC 2 battle and its illuminating to see that the local Canary Islands championship leaders Lucky and Enrique Cruz are quite a bit off the regulars just goes to show how strong the pace is at the top of the championship
The modern cars are so good now and drivers so precise that dry tarmac can look a bit boring. But that's their fault, not the rally.
Years ago with the Group A and then S2000 cars, this type of event looked great.
Pity the FIA cant mandate a RWD diff bias for the current cars. ;)
I think drivers in general like those stages - they can just drive and there is less of the puncture lottery, dirty road due to the starting position, etc. - it is a fair field for everyone.
The "problem" is that Toyota is too good, and there is no competitive field. If we could have all 3 teams with cars to fight for the stage wins and have those "few tenths here or there" leads, it could be a different story.
Nip and tuck between Solberg and Ogier again. Oliver is doing a fine job vs the GOAT.
The old days / old cars were definitely more fun :)

Guest driver Paolo Diana was not allowed at the super special stages because his car is sponsored by Kumho.

Not full, but still lots of people. Also have in mind that most people arrived late.

Coverage of WRC2 has been very good on this rally and in Croatia, hope they keep it up for the rest of the year
Quite a doninance, stage positions 1 to 5 for Toyota for every proper stage (SS2, SS4, SS5, SS6, SS7). (SS1 and SS8 short stage, SS3 cancelled).
and ss9
It seems like hyundai has actually gone backwards.
I wonder when and if we see they say thanks to everyone but they’re leaving WRC for good…a travesty watching them…
Eh, boring! How to sell this product to wider audiences outside the die-hard fan base? Interesting that Hyundai has done some adjustments that Sordo is not the fastest of them 3 anymore.
Raining?
Hope you bored guys are finding it more interesting now...
The embarrassment of the rally so far - the worst Toyota was slower than the best non-Toyota.
We have this rally in the calendar until 2031 right? Where’s Rallye Deutschland when you need it?
To be honest, I think it’s the lack of competition at the top level that makes this rally boring, rather than the rally itself. Hopefully, next year Toyota’s WRC27 won’t be too dominant and a few of the top Rally2 drivers will be in the mix for podium places and wins.
