So far for some maybe it is but chuck some bad weather and punctures into the mix and the whole thing could change. Better consistent road surfaces than the lottery and shite on the roads of Croatia. The modern cars are so good now and drivers so precise that dry tarmac can look a bit boring. But that's their fault, not the rally.
Years ago with the Group A and then S2000 cars, this type of event looked great.
Pity the FIA cant mandate a RWD diff bias for the current cars. ;)

To be honest, I think it’s the lack of competition at the top level that makes this rally boring, rather than the rally itself. Hopefully, next year Toyota’s WRC27 won’t be too dominant and a few of the top Rally2 drivers will be in the mix for podium places and wins.
