It was hard to understand from all the commentators talking over them, but as far I heard Ott was telling basically the same thing: "If you mess up with the notes, I'ill loose my rythm". There was some more converisation, but this was already inaudible. It seems it happened somewhere in the middle of the stage, when the splits were a bit off. I don't think it was that stupid, the Hankooks have been remarkably resilient towards punctures and on a number of occasions this year drivers have driven a fair distance with a tyre off the rim without further issues.
In hindsight he should have stopped earlier, but lesson learned.

Someone should educate the commentators about the tyre sidewall structure. If there is a hole, then there is no air and only the sidewall holds it in the place.
Ogier would likely have been faster here anyway. 2.9 up on the last comparable split. Expecting something like 7s to 8s at stage end…
