And where is the stage on that picture?
so they basically see clouds of dust... nice.
Yes, N.O.T. is correct. Stage was build this year again.
Exactly. According to the article at https://www.fiaerc.com/lukyanuk-suff...ing-erc-stage/ Lukyanuk said:
“Now I have zero spares,” he remarked, indicating he was carrying only a single spare tyre to last him for both of this afternoon’s stages. He now faces the 30.53 kilometre Thiva test without any further spares in case of a puncture.

Lukyanuk blew everyone out. Now whos going to come 2nd?
Wow what a time by Luky !
Something must be wrong with the other drivers. They must be carrying too many spare tires and their cars are too heavy :D
I think that here will be nice fight for first place between "others" :)
Really impressed with the russian on SS2. He has always been quick, sometimes too quick for his own good.
If he now continues to pull times like this, and still able to reach the goal on ss12, and repeat it for the most of the ERC, he is ready for a seat in WRC!
He is 37 years old. To succeed in WRC he would need two seasons to learn the events and by that time he would be really ready he is going to be 40 already. Unfortunately it's too late for him.
just came back from Thiva.
Choosed a very fast downhill straight(almost) for about 300 meters and very wide road, with a fast right. The brakes at the downhill from about 160-170 km/h were amazing.
Luky from another planet at this point, braked very late,he flicked the car using all the wide road, and turned sideways.
Other nice passes were Ptaszek Nordgren and Tsouloftas(excellent pass, one late brake, and with one move he steered)
Brynildsen braked and accelerated 2-3 times.
Luky was on different league. This guy must drive at wrc.He havent got to gain something ar erc.Neither us.
Almost same picture like mine ;)
Lucky must drive full season in WRC2
Lukyanuk Alexey - Arnautov Alexey
"I was in stage mode as we lost a lot of seconds and we needed to get some time back."
1 Lukyanuk
2 Brynildsen +44.5
just wow
Leg one recap: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OG_2mG...fauxfullscreen
from Lukys facebook
Alexey Lukyaniuk, the pilot:
"The first stage was the racetrack - a field where the grader had just cut two kilometers of the track and, when we drove, in the first turn in a harmless hole, they rested on the front wheel and the tire got off the drive. We drove somehow these two kilometers, lost 12 seconds to a better time, and I was upset, of course. Because it was clear that on Saturday the starting position is determined by the position on Friday and it was necessary for 30 kilometers somehow to play a backlog in order to rise in the results for the day. Well, here we go! I do not know what others did because I was sometimes cautious, sometimes I drove normally. We have written a very good transcript and it's great that we quickly go from the first pass to a new stage for everyone - this road has never been used. Well, I'm happy with the settings of the car, we "clicked" a bit after the qualification. It's good that the tires did not get off the wheels again. So that…. Of course, I'm tired pretty much, I already at the end have my hands ached ... when we finished we felt like we were working! But it was worth it, we have a good reserve and a good mood. Everything is super! "

Lukasz Habaj (Ford Fiesta R5) on the Qualifying Stage. Too bad he crashed already on the second stage and damaged the radiator.

Just found a good spot in SS3. Much bigger crowd here than previous years and it feels good.
Nordgren puncture on SS3 and the battle for second looks over as well. Let's see what else happens.
Luky stopped
Edit: Brynildsen too, Protasov with puncture
what a surprise...
im a huge fan of his but he always leaves you disappointed
broken wheel for Luky,Brynildsen stopped,Protason changed a wheel.
Acropolis at its finest.
Luky moves again, Nordgren apparently with double rear puncture and broken suspension...
Nordgren prop done for the day, that's 3 punctures and he cant have spare for all of them
FIA ERC
We're experiencing timing issues in SS4, but the news keep coming in... @AlexeyLukyanuk and @E_Brynildsen appear to be moving again on the tracking system.
in case you wonder why so many punctures

This is turning into as much of a joke as WRC2 Portugal.
Did Michelin change their gravel tyres for this year?
U would almost think this rally is a lottery like Monte Carlo

This stage is totally ridicilious. This not rally total survival!.
There is no FIA legal tyre to compete here!

flash info (1 - Lukyanuk Alexey / Arnautov Alexey): Something like in Azores last year. I tried to go more carefuly and slowly and hit something inside the corner. One driveshaft is broken now, we have to discuss with the team.
