Drivers are complaining of hanging dust. The stages are dry and there's not much of a breeze out there at the moment, that's reducing visibility quite a bit for the cars further down the order.

The Michelein guy was saying earlier that these tyres can run a few kms on a puncture.
Latvala puncture ? losing a lot on third split.

Strange, I don't recall dust to be an issue in Argentina. Do they run on new stages today?

Yes it has been problema several years, specially in stages like today morning where thick vegetation and do not allow the wind to fly the dust away. Recently we had many years with rainy conditions, but dust is a problem. I have suffered it from spectator point of view many times. Higher stages like el condor are easy for the wind.Quote:

The in-car footage was shown for long time on WRC+, the whole interior part of the roof ventilation was hanging just from the water hose.

Tanak will do a great job today. Despite mornings opener.
Latvala pace in the splits is getting him at top in the leaderboard if he can keep its till the end of the stage
