Why some of the R2 cars are listed in RC3 class and some in RC4?
So Henning in Fiesta WRC '17
15 WRC -> 12 WRC'17 :)

24 R5 -> 13 Fiesta, 6 Fabia, 4 DS3 and 1 208

And more 1 RC3 (Levin in DS3 R3T) and 6 RC4 (Taisko Lario, Oscar Solberg, Cook, Röjsel, Storm and Åberg). Could be bigger? Yes, but only Andreas missing to be greatest of last years.
Who wants to bet?
€100 on Henning not starting.
Not this time, not this time ;)

there is some progress...i remember in recent years that there's been panic already in december.
Was not a fun feeling last year flying out not knowing whether the rally would even run. I'm sure it will be fine this time.
why is this do you think we will have perfect rally conditions in three and a half days leading up to the rally.
im just asking a civil question and seeing if there is any reply from the locals etc.
its called being interested on whats going on prior to the event...
Well, we can have perfect rally-conditions now for the next 3 weeks, and then everything can melt in just a few days... ;)
Just to show you I am not worse than bluuford: This year the temperature will be low and the conditions will be great for winter rally. Everything depends on precipitation, but I expect few centimeters of snowfall to keep on the ground because of low temperature, so it should be OK. I don´t expect decimeters of snow, but some snow should be there.
I am afraid there won´t be any proper huge snow walls, but maybe on some of the stages there could be enough snow for snow walls here and there.
I just booked cottage in Torsby and it was snowing! Only 1cm snow in Torsby but small roads are icy and much more snow in northern stages. Hope nice winter rally!
A friend and I are planning on going to rally sweden for the first time (also the first event we'll be attending) and got some questions.
Is it possible to get to the different stages without a car?
Can you easily get to Torsby from oslo/stockholm by public transport?
General tips?
where are you flying from?
is there a reason why you cant hire a car, be so much easier?

I'm not asking for a prediction for weather in 3+ weeks because no one knows that, just wondering what things were like out there now.
Here is one online option for weather:

Are the water trucks for the stages good to go?
Current forecast is great. There is a proper amount of snow in rally region and next two weeks should be all below 0, minor snow is expected. Cannot tell further, but general picture is showing that whole Europe is going to freeze in next couple of weeks ;) Come to Tallinn, it ios warm here, only -4 now :)
Well I think I'll need the tips next year as I plan to make Sweden my big rally expedition of 2018 (if I have enough holiday left - 2017 is already shaping to be a BIG year in the Mintex life and my holiday year runs year commencing 1st April!)
