Best way to ensure winter tyres on your hire car?

Hiring from Lyon. I guess try and do the booking over the phone and specify?

You can try to rent the car in Grenoble, that is about the only place where you will have winter tyres.

We rent a car with snow tyres at Marseille Airport from Sixt for an extra 88 euros...And is only 175 km from Gap

If you are in the need...Imagine the cost for chains was 64e...At least Marseille is in the middle of Gap - Monte Carlo and airtickets are quite cheap from Greece

I reserved cars with winter tyres a couple of times from Nice Airport. They were always confirmed. But when I arrived it was the same story every time: Sorry, our mistake. But we don't have winter tyres right now. But we give you snow chains . . .

Any team registered in WRC 2 and/or WRC 3 may not enter more than two (2) cars in each championship rally in 2017.
