Luky wins stage 8 and is now level on time with Kajto !! :D
Kruuda reported stopped with broken radiator on SS8 !
Luky this guy is unbelievable what he can do with an evo X.Managed to take back all these 5,6 sec at a single stage.
Imho must be the fastest guy at gravel with such car.
Big respect Luky!
Will be very interesting to watch him in Finland with a Fiesta WRC!
Timing now showing Luky 0.1s ahead ! :)
SS10 Elva city stage live!

Luky with 2,4 ahead of Kajto, even with 10 sec penalty.
cant wait to see onboards from the crazy Russian.
15 - Lukyanuk Alexey / Arnautov Alexey): Power is here. The car is perfect, thanks to the team for an awesome car. We also try to match this level and push like hell. It is all the result of practice and analysis. May be it looks aggressive but on these kind of roads it works. We are really focused now, I am feeling much better than in the morning.

Great return to the ERC so far by Lukyanuk !
He really shows that its all about the driver not the car...

tricky corner at ss7, incl. Salo's mistake - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9CvMBprNWI
Nasty crash for Björn Adolfsson/Mikael Johansson on SS8 (reason why stage was stopped) codriver complained pain in his back, so rescue desided to cut the cage to minimalize the change for further injures while gettin him out of the car : http://g1.nh.ee/images/pix/728x352/y...8-71943399.jpg
Some nasty accidents today:

Jeez. No small accidents on this rally it seems.
Short conclusion for today. Leading pack was driving completely in different level: Lukyanuk, Aus, Kaur, Kruuda, Kangur, Katjo, Plangi. Breen, Kõrge and Murakas looked pretty average, Salo looked slow everywhere. I think that partly it is the same I noted before the rally.. 208T16 is not yet fast car on such fast roads, car looks very unstabe and nervous, seems that drivers are not able to push them to 100%.
well, Tushkanova crashed on very fast spot where those drivers who do not listen legend are making mistakes.. famous crash place.
Kruuda and Radiator, I have heard this story several times.. Beautiful rally until that moment.
Arshansky was among two drivers who "lifted" on our corner in SS5, he was the onlyone who crashed on that stage, just a few minutes later on SS3.
Suninen: He was driving fast but sometimes a bit too fast, it ended soon.
Veiby: Was driving very badly, making many corrections, entering too fast into the corner and then correcting it several times.
Kaijto: Nearly perfect lines, very, very good drive!
Lukyanuk: Very clean lines, no crazy driving, just very fast.
Rain arrived by the city stage as initialy expected. Rain is over now and tomorrow it should be dry. There was not much rain, no dust but no mud as well.
Helicopter: Perfect lines, some extreme driving ;-)
Need to go to sleep now, very tired, did 4 stages today, nearly all cars.
To sleep now:
Kajto's impressions - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-eyUAlvmoc
They said on the tv coverage that Breen was using the long gearbox and that they then struggle with acceleration.
I don't know how functional it really is but maybe the big rear wing on the Mitsubishi helps with stability vs the R5 cars too?
I don't think the rear wing of an Evo X gives (much) more downforce than one of an R5 car. I think the stability will be different. Due to long wheelbase a group N car will be less nervous in these extremely fast turns, it probably gives more confidence. Also acceleration on high speed (like from 150kph to 180kph) is maybe better with Gr.N cars? > Someone who knows more about this can tell us more I think?
Congratulations to Lukyanuk. When you see the onboards it's unbelievable he kept the car on the road, it's madness!

congrats to Lukyanuk-Arnautov,excellent and faultless rally from first stage.
Congrats to Kajto too,for this pace for his first time at this rally, the only one can match the pace of the crazy Russian, and stay inside the road.
Second time when production car wins, after Kajto at Polland 2011 with impreza.
cant wait to see Luky onboards.

the thing i like about Luky is that he doesn't crash even though he seems to be on the limit most of the times... of course the limit you push to beat the nobodies of ERC is different from the limit you need to push to be a challenger in the WRC... but still, lets hope Finland goes well for him and we have a nice addition to the WRC for the future.
Last two corners of the rally for Lukyanuk on the video :D

oil pressure again for psa r5 car
Breen from official erc site
“Towards the end of SS14, we started to lose oil pressure – something’s happened inside the engine and there is nothing we can do about it,” said Breen. “We could have driven on for a bit, but it would have destroyed itself.
Wow the Peugeot 208 really is something, maybe next year they will sort out the reliability..
Great win for Lukyanuk, so good to see an Evo win again! :D
Oh the forum is back now !
Another Peugeot fcuk-up for Breen, to follow Ingram yesterday. :( These guys have no chance of titles with these unreliable cars.
Massive congrats to Luky - what a driver ! And well done Kajto for his speed on his first time here.
Sadly, ERC Youtube channel didn't have full length onboard vids
Korge moment with onboard too
