Benny Parsons I think.
You are correct Hoss. Benny qualified for the 1982 Winston 500 at Talladega at 200.176 mph, becoming the first Cup driver to reach 200 mph in qualifying.Quote:

Which driver(s) followed up their Rookie of the Year award with a Cup Championship the quickest?
Dale Earnhardt.
That's correct, your turn.
Who is the youngest Daytona 500 winner?
Jeff Gordon in '97.
Dale Jr or Fireball Roberts.
Jeff Gordon is correct. The same race as the famous Earnhardt moment:
I looked over there and said, 'Man, the wheels ain't knocked off that car yet,'" Earnhardt said. "I went over there, looked at the wheels and told the guy in the car to fire it up.
"It fired up, I told the guy to get out, then told the ambulance guy to unhook me. I've got to go.
"We took off after them. You've got to get all the laps you can. That's what we're running the championship for."

Which non-active marque has the most wins, and when was their last win?
Bump, I'll guess Oldsmobile, probably with Harry Gant, Richmond maybe?
No, not Olds. I'm surprised no one's gotten it. It's a 30 second look up in any year Nascar Preview & Press Guide, and I posted it the day the 2007 guide hit the newstands.
Buick Brett Bodine 1990?
No.
(Hint it's page 37, third column. ;)
Slorydn2 has been slack this year...she hasn't picked up my press guide yet this year....this will be the record for lateness since she picked up my first one in 1999......Quote:

Plymouth's last win was with Dick Brooks @ Talladega August 12, 1973.Quote:

Only those 3 cars finished on the lead lap.
Plymouth has 190 Cup wins, 4th on the manufacturer's all-time win list.
(Chevrolet is 1st, Ford is 2nd & Dodge is 3rd.)
