Also in Sweden earlier this year non priority WRC drivers were starting inbetween WRC and WRC2 crews.
@Hartusvuori and Pucky52, yes... But those also had a number between WRC and WRC2. ;) From what I know it happened more that FIA let "unproven" drivers start behind all the others, even with a WRC car. I remember 2007-2008 where several Dutch drivers were driving WRC cars and ended up starting around number 50-60 I think. And yes, in WRC, Kostka is "unproven". His outings in Barum were Always good, and his prestations in the Czech Republic are remarkable, but apparently FIA didn't bother putting him where he belongs... It makes no sense, but there are more things that make no sense in the world of WRC...
BTW, @Pluto or Mirek: Why was he testing the DS3 WRC if he doesn't start in Germany?? https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...47418353_n.jpg
There's more to it... Something's not right here.
Pity Consani isn't doing it ... it would have been interesting to see how he would have done because his form this year hasn't been great ... what do out French members think ?Quote:

UPDATE: Apparently Tomáš Kostka’s co-driver, Miroslav Houst, is sick. He was seen vomiting today. Maybe that’s the reason for the withdrawal?Quote:

Recce starts next monday. So tomorrow you need to travel to Germany. If you are really really sick, you can't make it to the event.Quote:

So, has Andreas Amberg now withdrawn or not?

KOSTKA UPDATE: Apparently Tomáš Kostka’s co-driver, Miroslav Houst had backache on Friday. Kostka’s father then stood in as co-driver but he started vomiting and was unwell. That's why he withdrew from ADAC Rallye Deutschland. It is rumoured that Kostka will drive in Rallye de France-Alsace in the PH Sport DS3 WRC instead.
No Germany for Amberg.Quote:

Too far to say exactly, but first pictures are indicating that most of the rally will be dry.Minimal possibility of rain on Thursday (most probably no rain) and bigger possibility on Sunday (quite high risk of rain).Quote:

What is the point to post the video in 2013 thread?
To get an extra view... But his strategy obviously doesn't work. There are more people on this forum who are only posting their photos/videos. I'm ok with it if it's in the right thread and just after an event. Not OK with it if they "spam" it around everywhere. The forum could use some cleaning...Quote:

Watch the posts of the member we're talking about. It's the 3rd time he's posting the same video here. And similar videos have been posted already before... Some people join this forum with only one goal, which is "spamming" their photos and videos trying to get more views. They use it as a "one-way channel", they just come here to post, don't read anything and don't comment on anything, they are not real members IMO. I bet they will not even read the comments we're posting on it. So why bother? I don't think they add any value to the forum. Everything that is worth seeing will make it to the forum for sure... With or without spammers.Quote:

Further to Tom's point in the post above, it is a fine line between disallowing seemingly irrelevant posts (and if you look at ADAC 2012 there were more than enough posts showing the Prokop fire and a bozo making a mis-interpreted joke about 'no super rally then?') and censorship. We are getting increasing incidence of 'numbers' spammers and trolls so to protect the community some deletions may occur.
Dude this isn't exactly the social media sensation that the kids are dialled into…
Community ? The forum is in fact inhabited by a small group of residuous de facto gate keepers who spend every waking moment trolling through every thread as if they don't have a real life to involve themselves in.
nuff said , I get it.

And much of last year's debate after my Prokop fire quip about 'no super rally' centred on the absence of a sense of irony among forum members. :)
