Jennie-Lee Hermansson seems to have some sort of problem.
Also Team Wilén's service van just suffered an engine failure.
Young Fiesta R2 driver Emil Bergkvist probably one of the fastest coming swedish drivers. Unfortenately he had to retire with technical failure on first liason today.
Even comebacking Viktor Henriksson in 2WD Corolla doing very fast times leading the national 2WD class after Saturday morning loop.
Jerker Axelsson in Subaru S10 WRC won SRC 1 st round in Östersund today. 2nd Mats Jonsson.
Testing new mode.
Google-translating via maybe new Windows 8? Me myself was just verifying how and if the "new" forum working.
How are you btw? Coming to Sweden or Finland for NORF any time?
I seriously doubt it. Too often it goes like today: Up at 0700, get little Natasha and Annoushka up and fed and walk to school, home and answer emails, then phone and pack junk for sending----just sent really nice LONG con rods and smidda CP pistons to 2 guys in Limmared for a classic Saab 99 and a classic MkI Escort, then errands then pick up the girlies at 15.10 bring 'em home fix some snackies, chase them and read with them, wifey gets home then down to machine shop for lite upp-karvning av aluminum and steel...then home--tonight was home at 22.45...eat some dinner and look in on things like this that require no thinking, then wash up and in bed aroud midnatt or 0030. If I have ANY time I want to spend it with my wifey and the squirmy-girls who are all so sweet and so full of curiosity and wonder. Just got a nice old "Light day service rig" aka Volvo 245 in case i have time to do any rally, if not then its perfect for filling with camping gear to go show the girls the mountains here.
Some days its not sooooo terrible and I can take it wasy and only work half day.............
12 hours....8(
Tragedy has stricken once again.
A 19 year old woman was killed in an accident at Skänningeknixen rally in Skänninge.
I don't know much about the accident more then that the car somehow lifted onto two wheels and hit a couple of spectators.
Hard to know but I think they might have been standing at an improper place.

I was at another Rally all day today at the Aprilsprinten rally sprint where there was a serious accident where a car was flipped up onto two wheels
and while being brought back down to four wheels driver struggled to maintain control and eventually spun and slide into a large stone which
it hit with the co-driver side. IIRC roll cage damaged, door and the door frame was ripped off and also large damage to the roof at the co-driver side.
Co-driver was stuck and fire fighters had to work quite long (maybe 20-30 min) to get her free. The official report said that she was fully conscious and
was brought to hospital for observation. However I overheard a discussion between a group of people, who were standing next to me, and
someone they knew who knew the couple that was involved in the accident. According to this discussion the co-driver suffered a puncture lung
but no other serious injuries.
As for the rest of the sprint rally, 140 entrants doing 3x2 laps each starting with 30-40 seconds interval with "floating start"*. Which worked very well.
Sunny weather for the first hour and half then more and more clouds and colder and colder temperature. It was almost freezing cold towards the end so
I left about slightly after halfway through the final round. The weather made it not worth staying for the final 30-40 cars.
Some good driving, one driver who managed to rip off a wheel, one driver who managed to roll his golf, allot of engine/gear box failures.
As usual, huge amount of Volvo 200 and 900-series rally cars. Did allot of filming so it might be available within the next few days.
*manual waving flag signalled start used in relation to position of previous starter.
Sad news...Poor girl. Poor driver.
You should come over to the No1 Volvo rally site in America with your vids..
(well its No1..Serious......Oh okej, there aren't any others... Still we're it..

Coming weekend 4th round of SRC will start in Linköping. 92 crews will start in the East Sweden Rally with Norwegian Frank Tore Larsen and swede Jerker Axelsson as favourites.
http://rallysm.se/tavlingar/2014-09-...t-sweden-rally
Mats Jonsson won this weekends round of SRC. Main contender Jerker Axelsson went off road today when only thing he had to do was to finish the round to become champion in 4WD class. Jerker had to bring a Mitsu Evo9 when his S10 Subaru wasn´t able to be driven.
Now the championship will be battled out in the last round in Rally Uppsala 3-4th of October.
yepp, my bad.
Some nice photos from the event:

Pelle, is that hemmatrakten for you? Where are you anyway exactly (I'm betting I've been there)
And I am confused..
Klassen SM "trmmat 2wd" seem to be some very strange cars at the top...Toyota, Suzuki, Citra?
First nice car down in 6th??? Johansson i 240 Volvo... Can you tell us about those Toyotas and Susuki and Citroen--What cars? what spec?
You going to Finalen?
Take piccies.
How did you know my nickname is Pelle? You´re a swedish language genius aren´t you? Bring you some pics from earlier this summer from SRC.

And yes- it´s in my neighbourhood Rally Uppsala coming last round of SRC. I´m from a place called Östhammar 70 K east of Uppsala at the swdish coast of Baltic Sea also called Roslagen. Have you been here?
The Toyota are a swedish-build "kitcar" from Asterhag ( Toyota Team Sweden) build in the late 90´s...
-> http://www.pontustidemand.se//wp-con...76242252_n.jpg
The others are a Suzuki Swift S1600 and the Citroen are a DS3 R3T
Okej those old Corolla ex-WRC shells and all the nice godis... So real crazy stuff and a DS3...
Well then I guess that's what it takes to beat a good 240....:arrows:
I see that the guy Johansson has only been on the right track --in a nice car---for about 3-4 events and had previously been in a Misterbitchy Evo....better late than never!
Äääsch, inte så svårt att räkna ut. Naturally you were named after the famous Pelle...Erövraren
eller? Not so many "Perra" running arund
And of course I've been to Östhammar....40 år sen på hösten Östhammar MK. Vi had been up in Grängesberg the day before and drove down and slept in Hotel Ford transit..then and again in Spring 76. Rode 250B
Also been to Rasbo, Tierp Uppsala, Sala ( finns det en Nersala? I could then say I'vce been to Upp o Ner Sala..
In may of these places I was upp o ner...They din't call me Jan van Vurpa for nothing ya know.
I guess my classmates nicknamed me from Pelle Svanslös, the famous storybookcat from Uppsala (No Nersala there is). It was back in the early 60´s starting school. (Per/Pär often gets nickname Pelle - you know that of course)
Back in 1974 then, you were here! So funny and what a coincidence. Me myself had an Opel Kadett Rallye Sprint driving local rallies and my club was ... Östhammars MK. Any names you remember from that time? I guess it was motocross back then for you. Svanberg?

Robin Friberg leading Östersund after SS1 this evening ;)
http://raceconsulting.com/rally/resu...sp?tavling=774
Jerker Axelsson Subaru S12 in the lead of Winter Rally Östersund after 5 SS. 28,9 secs before Robin Friberg in DS3 R5. Two 22 km stages to go before finish.
Jerker Axelsson Subaru S10 in the lead of Winter Rally Östersund after 5 SS. 28,9 secs before Robin Friberg in DS3 R5. Two 22 km stages to go before finish.
Big drama on last stage in Swedish championship round two. Overall leader and more cars hindered by car on the roof making sensational winner in Winter Rally Östersund. Rules to be questioned..
