indeed...last year against neuville he won relatively easy. Hanninen is a stronger opponent though.
Indeed! Ott has never done any rallies with S2000 car on tarmac. An he has done only 2 rallies on tarmac anyway :-) Germany (5th with superally) and France (second) last year. So, I do not expect too much. Podium would be excellent for him I think (Behind Hänninen and Prokop).
He must win against tourists like prokop with ease, at least on day 2...if he does not then "houston we have a problem"
Prokop and Weijs have very good local knowledge and I'm sure they will be strong here.
Mikkelsen and Lindroos where surprisingly 'slow' in Finland, I wonder whether the same will happen to Weijs and Riedemann.
Is Weijs limited to the same tyres as the SWRC registered drivers?Quote:

weijs is a good driver...and he might have a future in the WRC, but he must move a bit faster if he wants a career and i do not see many resources around him, lets hope VW will change that.Quote:

Local knowledge is indeed a factor, thats why i expect ott to be faster than Prokop on day 2.
Run that past me again! Ott has done Deutschland once and only 2 WRC tarmac events in total. Am I missing some ironic implication that OT has gained more from his 1 visit to the Mosel valley than all of Prokop's previous experience. If so, N.O.T., you have developed a subtlety I had previously not suspectedQuote:

at least that would be the good scenario.
Tarmac driving is about more than just having more grip, but it will be interesting to see how quick he can adapt. Some never manage it.Quote:

I just realized that this is the premiere of Michelin tarmac tire... It came to my mind after Meeke got double puncture. So, we witnessed many punctures on Michelin gravel and snow tire when they first appeared..I hope we willnot see the same on tarmac.
I guess we will. In IRC where almost everyone uses Michelin it's also a common part of the game...
But they are not using control tires.. at the same time they are not using WRcars as well which are more aggressive.. so,you must be right. So, my offer is between 5 and 7 punctures in total among top 15 seeded drivers ;-) Shakedown does not count!
is there any link to shakedwon results for all drivers?
btw: some good time from felix herbold ;)
