Aava just 0,3s from Ogier in overall classification
Again a mistake???Urgh.....!
Now I suppose that Latvala lost his chances......
Novikov second on SS9 :)
Novikov second fastest in ss9?????
Novikov starts driving ;)
Andersson just 0,1 behind Petter!!!!My God.....!
again this tactics :(
Get used to them with 10 loose-surface events....
That's why there should be a rule, awarding points to the Top 3 after each day.Quote:

Yes,but we have in store an axciting final leg...I don't know...This rule has pluses and minuses(possibly more minuses) and everybody judges it in one way or another.....The best for me is Berzs' opinion cause this way both reliability and speed is rewarded....However I thing that we must start a new thread, because it is a general issue and is not only about Norway!!
i hope they find a solution with the starting position of boland...
if not and he starts 1 minute in front of sandell, than he has to overtake him in every single stage, maybe even on the 1,15km hamar stage ;o)
Loeb in the lead at the end of the day. Things are as they should be :)
Old info, this thread moves fast.

Hirvonen, however, insisted the switch was unintentional. “My rear tyres are completely finished - I tried really hard,” he said. “We had a lot more tyre wear than the Citroens. I’m missing lots of studs. This is definitely not what I wanted to do. Now we have a lot to make up. It’s going to be a big fight tomorrow.”
turning the Top 10 list upside down makes the "bottom end", if you may, of this Top 10 even less competitive in the next day because of preforming road sweeping functions for the leaders. It would be much more exciting and interesting to see guys fighting back from 7th, 9th or what ever position to the top with equal chances and conditions as leading drivers. Awarding points for each day's Top 3 would enable amuch bigger motivation for the teams to fight every day, not only to get to the end. That is, of course, my opinion on this. And Pshycho! is right - this is a topic for a new thread. :)Quote:

P.S. SubaruNorway - Latvians are already waiting for Your video from today's stages :D
SchUMine: Very different to what Colin said. He said only few studs were missing on Mikko's rear wheels and that he slowed down before finish...
Wow, really nice to see the stage wins of Andersson. Very happy with it.
I think Mikko made a wrong choise with this tactics. When you are first on the road, it is even good as Loeb showed this morning. There isn't snow expected and Mikko had 7,3 seconds advance and he lost it with this tactics.
I was away from my pc for hours, I wonder what happened to Mikkelsen on SS8?
He was off road in the snow bank.
Thanks Mirek..
any photos from day1?
Lost the whole day because of work.. great. Just great.
Nothing special in top 4, but I gotta say that I'm as impressed about P-G's pace as everyone else in here. What an awesome speed. Hopefully he stays on the road and Skoda will come to the finish in one piece.
Nope. FORD admits it.Quote:

how stupid is that?
Some photos from Petr Lusk ;) http://www.ewrc.cz/ewrc/fotogalery.p...tograf=2&all=1
The sick dog strikes back....nice...
thanks Mirek Fric :)
great pictures!!!! bravo Petr Lusk!
I think that there are no advantage tomorrow to be second on the road. Even there might be some advantage to be first on the road. I am quite sure that Mikko didnt loose that time intentionally. If you have some studs missing then that is already very big disadvantage.. that actually means the others are already moving and grip level goes down almost exponentially.
Those official press releases.. dont belive those. These are written by PR people and mostly drivers does not even know what they were "saying" there
bluuford - see wrc.com!
Generally Ford is good at handling this kind of situations, I mean Ford Management tell the drivers what to say to press but this time they did a mistake. Mikko did 2 different speeches!Quote:

I am a big fan of Mikko, I hope Mikko will win, but today, Mikko and the team made me sad! This wasn’t necessary.
Mine
I don't think this time team was responsible. I think it was Mikko's call which make me sad :(
I still believe that those words were put into Mikko´s mouth. He was just that much slower on that stage. if you make calculations then you can see that even without slowing he would have lost his lead very narrowly. It wont be disadvantage tomorrow to start first on the road. And I believe that Loeb wanted to be the first.Quote:

Weather update:
Tomorrow: Cold and sunny
Sunday: very high possibility of medium snowfall starting from 9-10 AM. Temperature higher as well.
OK guys, take it easy...Everybody had in their mind that something like that will happen...Apart from that, the two speeches weren't opposite, but the latest was explaining better the first......!!!
Why starting first is an advantage??The second driver can see first's lines....
