They will boycott the first 2 rallys on tarmac (Ciocco and 1000 Miglia). They will be at rally Adriatico 3-4 of april (gravel). Seems that also Longhi has to be considered as "official" :(Quote:

Possibly a chance for a better result for ERC drivers, the last few years they were regularly embarassed there...
Rumour of presence of Renato Travaglia in a 207 S2000 at the Ciocco
He's my fav for the win if it's true... :bounce:
Latest official press release of Rally Ciocco confirms there will be ten S2000 drivers on the event(seven 207s and three Grande Puntos) :)
Travaglia confirmed too :bounce:
Sadly no presence of Luca Cantamessa and Andrea Aghini :(
No presence of the Proton Satria S2000 neither :mark:

No Elwis Chentre either? :(
Wow! Number 9! Emanuele Dati! Welcome back and good luck!!! :up:Quote:

Entry list is actually very strong and I'm amazaed with the number of quality drivers in new S2000 cars,I can only imagine how it will be with the factory drivers....
Cavallini and Perico are known as very fast.
Signor,Gianfico,Dati,Michelini (I think he was the best S1600 in the TRA for the last few years with strong competition) are all very fast drivers...
To bad there's no Elwis Chentre, but he's doing ERC this year ;)
To Tom:Corolla is very busy the last few weeks ;)
In fact Renato Travaglia would run ERC only with his new car, and Ciocco would be a preparation event before the 1000 Miglia, first ERC round... ;)
Mistake from the organizers of Rally Ciocco ??? Looks like Travaglia will use a Grande Punto from Trico Motorsport in fact
Anyway, better balance between the Peugeot and Fiat drivers there, then... ;)
Well, I must say, I'm quite surprised about starting list for Ciocco. It is not bad, if I look back few years, when all factory teams started, it was not any better.
I'm expecting a good fight between Travaglia, Perico, Medici,Gianfico...and also not to forget Sottile, young Cempedelli...so a nice week-end ahead of us !!
Yes, I agree. Considering the crisis and boycott the list is not bad.
Ucci, are you boycotting the event as well? ;)
In Italy, with so many S2000's and so many good drivers, the entry list will never be bad!!!

Well Jarek, me as a true Andreucci fan I'm very disappointment about his absence, this is also his home rally, it is very sad for his local-fans, but I still belive in him and already on the next event, gravel Adriatico he will show his potencial....And yes, I will miss this rally too, but I will be linked via-online all time....Quote:

Maybe the reason following retirement of Tabaton last week with the Corolla
Here is very nice video of Ucci testing Peugeot. Very spectacular!

Start SS1 Ciocco this evening(7.19pm gmt+1)... ;)

I like the 207s of Gianfico, Medici and Perico :)
The Racing Lions livery(Trentin)appear too much classic now :mark:
I keep my fingers crossed for Travaglia. I think Perico can be dangerous too. It will also be interesting to see if Emanuele Dati still remembers how to drive. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that he had another too long break in his career.
Thanks for the photos Tom!
The first stage(6.09 km) is in about 30 minutes!!!!
SSS running...in reverse order ;)
So, SS1 finished:
1.Perico
2.Travaglia +0.7
3.Cavallini +1.2
4.Dati +1.5
5.Gianfico +2.8
Can't wait for tomorrow action on the Ciocco roads :bounce:
Travaglia is taking th first stage of the day, and also the overall lead, in front of Perico. ;)
Stage 3:
Dati !!!!! :D :D :D
Overall:
Travaglia
Perico +11.0
Dati +12.0
Gianfico +23.6
Cavallini +26.5
After stage 4 it is still Travaglia in the lead, he is now 13,5 sec in front of Perico and 14,2 in front of Dati. The S2000 cars are really dominating this rally, as Campedelli is first Gr. N in 9th position at 48,5 sec. :)
Travaglia is extending his lead after stage 5 and is now allready 21.3 sec in front of Perico, Cavallini fastest and now in third overall at 26 sec of the lead. ;)
Perico lost 3,5 minutes on SS6 :(
Well, evertyhing according to plan, Travaglia in the lead after 7SS, T.Cavallini is already more than 20 sec behind. Again bad luck for Perico, and a big accident for Sandro Sottile at the end of SS3, the crew is OK !!
Alex Raschi with Clio R3 is the first between front drive cars, class S1600 is behind-this was my predict at the end of last season !
Yes, puncture for Perico on SS6 and for Dati on SS5.... :(Quote:

Another puncture for Perico.Quote:

Completely gutted for Gianfico and Perico ;(
Go for tomorrow last four stages Cavallini and Michelini :bounce:
