Predictions then? Who will win? I think maybe Audi will again, but it will be close with peugeot
Looks like rain for much of the 24 hrs.
I think the R10's will handle this better than the 908's because of more driver familiarity with the car.
End of qualifying practice !!! ;)
As feared, thunderstorms and rain didn't allow drivers to improve times(McNish had best time with 4'01s "only")today :mark:
10 minutes before the end of practice Stéphane Sarrazin was about to drive the 908 number 8 with "dry" tyres, but another car(Corvette number 70)went off the road and forced officials to present red flag and end of session :(
Note that Marc Gené went off the road quite early(broken driving shaft)forcing the 908 number 7 to stop its set-up program quite early(Jacques Villeneuve had to drive it until midnight) :s
So qualifying is finally:
1-Peugeot number 8
2-Audi number 2
3-Peugeot number 7
4-Audi number 1
5-Audi number 3
6-Pescarolo number 16
...
It would be very interesting now to have names of drivers who will have to start the race !!! :)
whats wrong with T2M, they are so damn slow, that the officials may force them not to race
Glad to see that Tom Kristensen has been cleared to race
Just have a look at how wet was the circuit yesterday evening !!! :s

That's not fun at all to drive on such conditions(like said Jacques Villeneuve: undriveable)
But what can one do against ugly crappy weather ;(
its gonna be a wild race if it rains all day and night :D
Finally without surprises, Sébastien Bourdais will start in the 908 number 8 and Nicolas Minassian in the number 7 at 3.00pm tomorrow... ;)
No idea who will start in the Audis, Pescas and others though :mark:
