If he wasn't in the championship fight, I think he probably would have been excluded.
edit: I'm glad that the stewards published such an in-depth report, it will hopefully stop any rumours of favouritism etc. Transparency in such cases is good for the sport.
There are not enough words to describe how stupid this behaviour was, and generally, since the beginning of the trip to Wales, the tuner serving Mabellini and Lenzi has been acting like amateurs. Not for the first time this season...
Rules are rules, but what a pity this has spoilt a great prospective battle here between the top two in the ERC title race.
