Ostberg has been testing the R5
Citroen Racing will introduce new rear geometry for its C3 R5 at Rally of Portugal – and that’s just the first of a raft of changes coming to the car this season.
Ostberg has been testing the updates in recent weeks and is sure the work will help the car take a step forward.
“The work on the [rear] geometry will be a step,” Citroen team principal Pierre Budar told MN. “I don’t know, will it be a big step? It’s quite significant. And we have a few more things planned for the rest of the season with some engine and suspension work.”
The engine work isn’t expected until the second half of the season, but there could be some more evolutions in time for Finland.
Ostberg added: “It will be a proper update coming. I have tested this for three days and it’s good. It’s also really positive that Citroen is so motivated and really behind this work for the future.”
Luky's left front damper was gone in SS4 but he was lucky that the SS5 was only a short SSS.
@ChrisIngramGB wasn’t very happy after first loop: "Too sideways in first lap. I was really dissapointed this morning, setup, me, alltogether.” https://t.co/nkCj3jO0Wp
