There are only two rallycars in the world using same position of dampers - Fabia S2000 and Polo WRC. Is that an accident when VW was using Fabia S2000 as a benchmark and basis in the development? Even Willi Rampf, technical director of VW Motorsport, said the suespension mounting points of both cars are same (the interview was posted here: http://www.motorsportforums.com/show...l=1#post919601 but sadly the host website is gone).
RUN YOUR BIKE or Skoda if you can afford one - not YOUR MOUTH
JERK not - READ a lot -> Volkswagen! Group A0/PQ24 platform -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volksw...up_A0_platform
Get in touch with the bohemian dude to get a discount.
Skoda is your car!
Both platforms are near identical. The difference is that stock PQ24 is 2WD only while PQ25 is PQ24 per default addopted for 4WD. For WRC/S2000 suspension mounting points it's irrelevant anyway.
^ Who says the opposite. Read the quote again closely.
Dear Bohemian Sir,
Forgive my ignorance, I didn't know dampers positioning is what makes a car being based on another car.
NOT can opt for it on his new Skoda.
That will make him a proud WRC owner.
