Witness did not actually see the accident, but came upon it minutes later, and stopped to help. (Something oddly missing from the original reports)
Also NascarNow showed the police report, but I can't find it anywhere on the net yet.

I still say crashing at 1:50 am on a saturday morning then leaving the scene Mikey probably had too many budweisers. It just makes too much sense.

Come on. It was nearly 2am, he was tired, shocked, wanted to sleep. Did he have to stay in the car and sleep there?!
Wouldn't it be OK if he went and told the police that he had a crash and the pole is damaged(if it was). If the pole wasn't even damaged, what's the big deal? :confused:
Maybe it's okay to leave the scene of an accident in Estonia, but in the US is is not. 99.99999% of those who do, have something to hide.
