Said on the Eurosport broadcast that they've seen the on board and there didn't appear to be any contact with another driver but that he may have been distracted by 3 cars touching ahead of him. Then wheel on the kerb and it snapped on him while trying to catch the slide. Not too dissimilar to what the #96 car just did.
The big halt helped me as I had trouble with my internet and was able to drive to my folks during the SC, meaning that I didn't miss too much of the early laps.
time4tv.com and pick the British Eurosport or Eurosport2 links (it's on Eurosport at the minute but will switch to Eurosport2 later). Stable stream for me at the minute.Quote:

Thanks Jan, but the page doesn't load for me at all. I'll check again in the morning, if I'm not careful I'll end up watching it all night! :\Quote:

They had to repair a large section of barrier, but 50 minutes seemed quite a long time.
The conditions are really tricky, seen plenty of cars having trips through the gravel traps.
Any news on Simonsen's condition? That was a bad error so early but a big hit, so would like to hear he is OK. Last I heard he was on route to hospital but was conscious.
#7 Toyota stopped on track... and now it's started again.
No. 7 Toyota in trouble, so thats a shame. 21 hours+ to go and one challenger to the Audi's gone.
Audi settling down now and its an inter Audi battle that is shaping up nicely.
Well not gone, but falling backQuote:
