1999 Laguna Seca Memo Gidley Reynard
Good answer, Civic.
What a nice livery that is.
Thanks Phoenixent. The photo is mine, the website isn't. I lurk more than post but I usually post links to the race pix I shoot, for all of you to see.Quote:

Gary if you look at the body work by the rear wing supports the radius of the corners is larger than those on a Reynard. Then the body work goes straight down on a Reynard not the gentle angle of the Lola. That's how I see the rear end of that car as a Lola.Quote:

Then is it Memo Gidley in 1999? The car clearly shows a #71 sponsored by Herdez. The info I have shows he only drove Reynards. Is it a different driver or different year or is the data on the cars he drove wrong? (if only for 1 race.)
It is Memo at Laguna on the Dark Weekend in 1999. The photo I have is a Lola #71 team car to the #19 both DCR car with Herdez sponsorship. It also says Lola in the 1999-2000 CART Yearbook. Phil Harms list is incorrect easy mistake as Garcia and Vitolo drove #71 Reynards earlier in the year.Quote:

Phoenixent is right.
