Wow. That behaviour is just too much for me.
Why release a picture that is hiding stuff? It's sorta contradictory IMO.
Are they gonna test like that tomorrow as well!? (..sigh..)

Virgin Racing will unveil its first Formula 1 car in a broadcast on its website next Wednesday.

The VR-01 will be revealed via virginracing.com at 10.00am on 3 February, the team having chosen to hold a 'virtual' event rather than a normal launch.

The car has been designed by Nick Wirth's Wirth Research organisation and, like the other start-up teams, Virgin will use Cosworth engines. Wirth expects the car to run for the first time next week prior to joining the second F1 group test at Jerez.

Totally agree, would have been good to make a bit of a break from the BMW era with a new colour scheme, even if they don't have any sponsors signed up yet.

And totally hate the continuing "BMW Sauber" name, really hope they get that changed before the start of the year.

Compact and sleek. Takes a minute to get used to the nose but the cockpit area backwards is just beautiful - very art decco.

This car would not be out of place in a futuristic 1930's picture. Just need the elegant "flappers" :D

I like it and hope it does well for Sauber. Will look really good with their nesspresso coffee sponsor paintjob - how about Starbucks? :s mokin:

I would say its just the design - the fuel tank objective being to keep the fuel always as centered and as low in the tank as possible.

So maybe with all the one way valves and trapdoors they designed the Ferrari that way - according to their wind tunnel results.

I think the MOST interesting will be what the Virgin and Red Bull teams come up with - the first being entirely CFD designed and the RB from Newey.

Imagine if they would both arrive at similar designs obviously DIFFERENT from all the others. Definitely send something of a shock down pitlane! :eek:
