My pictures are from a P&S. I wish I had an SLR handy when I go to Mexico. That place covers everything from isolating deserts, lush forests, beautiful beaches, and quaint little towns. I love going down there for some R and R.Quote:

This depends by what how one defines beauty. Parts of Switzerland are very beautiful, for example, but personally I find those areas a little twee.
At this time of year NE USA and Eastern Canada are spectacular with the fall colours. Until you have seen the brilliant reds of the maples and bright yellows and every thing in between you won't believe your eyes.
