On most Rallies here in the UK, you can choose to watch were you want (as long as it's not dangerous) However, on RallyGB, you can't - there are spectator areas from were to watch. Rally Scotland looks as though it will be the same.Quote:

What about the accesses to the stages, will they be limited or will you be able to use any road you want, i mean those that are not used by the rally? Or will it be like in RAC-rally's of the last ten years where you are only supposed to go to restricted area's? :confused:
Can somebody give me a decent answer to those questions, then maybe i can start planning my trip over there. ;)

I believe that on some of the stages there will be only one spectator access point. It was also reported in Mnews last week that you can park your car and actually stay in it to watch a particular stage. Why would you want to do that? There's nothing to compare to the sight, sound and smell of a competition car....Quote:

Can someone who knows the area better let me know where the best central point to stay would be, for service and stages?
Thinking of heading up north for this one, but being the UK it will probably cost me as much overall as going to a nice sunny European round!
As the start is in Perth and the finish in Stirling you could try to find accomoadation in the middle of the two towns. Myself i will saty two nights in Perth and two in Stirling. :DQuote:
