RallyRUS reports

After 9 years brake F1 on water returned to Saint-Petersburg. In the nicest place - in the city center on Neva river - on Saturday there was held round of the world championship. One team from Saint-Petersburg joint the competition, and Stanislav Kurtsenovsky took the 7th place in the race.

Especially if to remember that both cars, crashed in Turkey, are Evgeny Novikov and Evgeny Aksakov crews...

While menfolk will take part and support their crews in the “Strugi Krasnye” rally in Pskov region on June 21 in Moscow there will be held for the third time the “Classic cars female rally” arranged by the Classic cars Rally Club together with the «Blue Elephant» restaurant.

If to speak about Russian rallies - with great pleasure, especially looking forward WRC candidate in Novorossijsk (26-28.09) - it is the best rally to look. Why? Temperatures are 25-30, water in Black sea 21-23 degrees, so watching rally - swimming - watching rally - swimming... and so on, very nice. All hotels are empty, because all tourists go home in the end of September. Niciest landscapes, mountains up to 500 metres, WRC candidate round and... the best Russian wine from Abrau-Durso ... Mmmm, wonderful rally!

But - we have 3 rounds to go before Novorossijsk. The farest round from Saint-Petersburg - rally Southern Urals 2008, 3000 km. Graver rally, mountains, stones on the road (yes, again as in Vyborg). But! One very interesting detail! I don't know if our IRC Rally Russia could help to take the decision :) , but one rallyteam from France (!!!) is going to start in Southern Urals rally with their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo7! The names of heroes are Emmanuel GUIGOU, Official driver for Renault in French gravel championship, but here, in Russia, he will be there with a Mitsubishi, and his co-driver Gaetan Houssin. It was great idea: for the first time in history I have chance to write new page of rally story "The adventures of Frenchmen in Russia"! :)

It will take few days for me to become ready to start to Satka - I think, we'll go by our ChevyVan, and it needs some works before crossing 6500 km in one week. Comfortable bed, travel kitchen, even small bowl - we are ready to adventures! :)
