Experience has taught me that it's best not to do it in any gear above 2nd, and not by T-boning them but by pushing them gently, if you have plans to complete all 7 laps. :D

I didn't have any trouble with the A.I on the 3 lap race, but in the 7 lapper I started on the left side of the grid and lost two places in the first corner. I think you lose more time if you try to barge them out of the way, so I just kept patient and eventually found myself back in the lead after a few laps.
My problem is that I can't get the car off the line without losing two places, so I regularly have to squeeze past those guys in that way.
Should be a good roll up this Rd.....I won't be looking at all the times until late Saturday...I'll try to put up results Saturday night...still no Piotr B...very unlike Piotr not to show up.....I was very happy with both my races...no mistakes in either..was able to keep it clean & fast...esp in the second race with the tyres getting better temperature...the first race I had to as I said before nurse the car to avoid unwanted spin.
I loose places at the start too. the best I could do coming out of the first turn was 2nd or 3rd... a little nudging does help!
pretty happy with the 3 lapper... in the 7 lapper I could have done a few seconds better - had a couple laps that were below potential.
best thing I learned was how to make it through those high speed turns along the back of the circuit... had to lift off early, let the weight transfer to the front before the apex, then get back on the gas a little.
I was trying to go into those too fast and the back end was getting loose on the exit. that sucked!
I think piotrb has probably been playing the new GRID demo. and maybe he's not to keen on potentially finishing so far down in these races????
two nice zandvoort videos:

Gilles Villeneuve

wish I would've seen this before my race!

wow... what a race... knew this might be my best chance ever for a victory in the V8s..... kinda dissapointing to loose that first race by so little, but I gave it all I had. didn't even have a beer before the race!
fun battling with JB again. couldn't ask for more than splitting the races with him :)
hope you're back for the next round too man!
especially since my new arch-rival Real Ill has fallen off the pace so much :D

nice run again for Wilson Fan too, eh?
glad someone can hang with Vuko!
