AFS Racing (with Neil Mickelwright running the show) will run in the ICS in 2011.
Is that the "Team Zed" that EE was referring to?
Also, Paul Tracy could be in line to run for the newly re-formed Dragon Racing (with Jay and Steve and without Gil). This is according to Robin.
Looks like Coyne may go to a ride-share with both cars. Bourdais and Duno in the #18 car. Plowman and Lloyd in the #19.
Well, it seems poor old Dan Wheldon will be left without a chair when the music stops, doesn't it?
Any talk of a driver for AFS? I'd obviously prefer Wheldon, as I imagine most would, but I do wonder if AFS would reunite with Raphael Matos, considering he has some money for the season if I recall correctly.
I hope it's PT as it would put him together with some guys he worked with before. I think Matos is done in ICS nice guy but really did not shine where he was. As for Wheldon I believe he will be a 500 only driver as he is has burned a lot of bridges...Quote:

We should never assume, but it is possible. There will be 24 cars testing at Barber next week. Ed Carpenter is not going to be one of them and he is going to run nine races this year. AFS Racing is trying to put together a team. KVRT might run a third car for Tony Kanaan from Brazil. Jay Penske and Steve Luczo are also trying to save their team following the departure of Gil de Ferran. So if everything goes well, we might see 28 cars at certain weekends.Quote:

Miller was saying something about INDYCAR was only going to cap the entries that get paid or something like that, but they wouldn't cap the number of cars on the grid. I would like more clarification from him about that.
