S2000 summary

Logical for me !! VW and Skoda are part of the same group, I could hardly imagine a Skoda "born" driver driving a Grande Punto or a 207... :p :

his ties to VolkswagenAudiGroup are very strong, so it's a good option, until the Fabia is ready for racing. the professional staff of CRT and the driving skills of Kopecky could make an impressive combination

I don't understand why Skoda is taking so much time to begin testing with the Fabia, they presented the prototype in March...I have a lot of expectations about that car, one of the problems of the VW Polo is that its in the end of its commercial life,it should be replaced in the beginning of 2009...
Come on Skoda show us the car

In March it was only bodyshell, not working model.

Zsolt Kakuszi will start in Rally Kosice with Fiat Punto S2000.

According to the MSD website they are saying that the S2000 rally car has 270 Hp at 8500. Most others have 280+ have they not ?

They are not mentioning anything on the torque, that are very important also.

But 10-15 hp is 10-15 hp.....

But it is still early days !

Yes, but at least it is a possibility. And it kind of makes sense.

I could see Jan driving a Mitsu Evo also because he has used that car before, but Polo would make more sense as it would mean CRT and Jan could learn about driving an S2000.

As some others said, Skoda are taking a verrrryyy long time to develop the Fabia. Latest I heard was October 2008? It had better be good!

Aris Vovos will take part at next weekend's Kentavros Rally counting for Greek Tarmac Rally Cup with Fiat Punto S2000! He will also enter Palladion rally with the same car!

Tirabassi has confirmed a 2008 IRC programm with the 207

According to the portuguese Autosport magazine there could be at list six S2000 cars on the 2008 national championship !!!! :eek:
