The difference I saw on the onboards was that Tanak turned in earlier and harder/more aggressively. Evans was maybe a little too cautious and the ice threw him way off.

#Tyre info - Day 4 - SS13 - SS16
All Michelin @OfficialWRC drivers with 5 MICHELIN Pilot Sport Soft (S6)
finally we will see speed comparison in equal circumstances
Morning.
great battles ahead today. less than a hour left!
E: based on the tyre choice it must be basically bone dry then. Advantage for Ogier, and disadvantange for Ott to make up big time against Loeb and Latvala.
Latvala 'shouldn't' lose his position to Ott in equal conditions/ same tyre choice, but who knows how he'll be mentally..
However Loeb has got this far up the leaderboard due to different tyre choices and his skill and feel driving in tricky conditions. He could struggle on tarmac in his first day in the Hyundai, but it depends if the Hyundai has improved on dry typical tarmac. Sordo and Neuville felt it had in Spain, but it is still very different from the Citroen it seems.
good morning guys!!

Morning dudes!
Latvala to let Tanak pass him today? You know, teamorders?
Ott even didnt go maximum...the understeer he had was horrible from heli shots
Latvala going to be passed at this rate. Easy for Ott
Quite a of sliding going on from multiple cars.
Latvala also complaining about understeer
Got to question what Jari is all about here. Crushed by Ott who said he wasn't even doing anything special. And even slower than Meeke in his first stage on dry tarmac and he was saving tyres lol..
With this mindset, Latvala will crash today :(
Well, everyone complained about understeering. Colin could have told JML that.
Loeb also having understeer, everybody having understeer!
Neuville fastest on the splits!!!!
Edit - lost a bit in the end
oh man the battles got even crazier now.
amazing
Huh, Tanak catching those ahead was expected, Ogier slower than Neuville totally wasn't. Looks stressed too.
With top 5 fighting for position might be interesting how they approach the day concerning the position overall-power stage points balance...
Finally Sarazin feeling home in this dry tarmac conditions. Fastest on splits
Ogier saying he can push more etc, but he looks a bit concerned. Neuville still happier with that car after the updates pre Spain it seems
lets see with the next stage now with being verry narrow and bumpy, i remember Toyotas last year not being very good on there and Hyundais love it.
Ogier sweating like a pig, saying "I can push more". No you can't, we all know... :D
Check out the splits of the Polos up the hill. Strong engine compared to the other R5 cars?

Ott Tanak has now won stages totaling 132.55 km which is more than all other drivers combined who have won stages totaling 125.67 km
Meeke just loves this stage
Tanak slower
Blablabla.. from commentators, when I want to listen what they say to each other.
Latvala not giving up
In case you don't recall, last year this stage was:
1st pass Neuville, Mikkelsen, Meeke
2nd pass Meeke, Neuville, Mikkelsen
So those 2 should be up.
Horrible understeer in the begnning of the stage from Ott from heli shots. nice recovery
wow are they really comparing stage time from 2018? terrible comparison
3rd for Tanak already
