Rossetti won thrilling battle with Kopeckı by just one second in finish. What a fight!
Congratulations to Rossetti, Kopecky, Perico, Carella(8th for his first outing in S2000) and Ucci/Racing Lions(both titles for them) :)
Very interesting season, lot of good drivers and top cars!
Now wait for 2011!
Indeed very interesting season in Italy, definitely most spectacular championship in Europe http://www.motorsportforums.com/foru...cons/spin2.gifA lot of publicity was brought with the decision of Skoda Motorsport to bring Kopecky in Italy-also very good marketing decision!!
Speaking of results-me personaly as an observer of CIR can say, that the ''old'' genaration, like Longhi, Travaglia and Navarra are having more and more troubles to find speed to achive top results. The only exception is of course Paolo Andreucci, who has no troubles with Basso, Roxsy, Kopecky, Scandola
and others, he is really phenomenon....
So to the next season-2011, it is a bit to early to speak about changes for teams&drivers, at this time yust Andreucci is already 100% for sure at Racing Lions (you don't change the winning horse) and Longhi has also a contract with Twister Corse for the next year...
Around when should we expect the announcement of the 2011 calendars?
(CIR, TRA, TRT)?
Have You told that to Rossetti? :DQuote:

But, as already told, I respect Rossetti very high !!
I don't know what Abarth promised (or paid) him 2 years ago, but I think if he stayed in Racing Lions' 207 maybe now he is 3 times Italian champion...Quote:

Abarth's future is not sure. Hope they'll remain.
And hope to see again Kopecky but I think is very unlikely!
I wasn't comparing speed of them. I just meant what Stepunk speaks about ;)Quote:

Adriatico, San Marino, Sanremo and Como are out of CIR repalced by Ciocco, Targa Florio, San Crispino and San Martino di Castrozza.
Rumours says that Costa Smeralda will be run together with Rally d'Italia WRC (like Rally d'Alsace this year).
Good cars but it's more a circuit race. Good show but definitely not a rally!Quote:

And it is all on your hand-no long walking, yust park the car and party....
Have fun !!!
Times SS1 Monza Rally Show available on http://www.monzanet.it/it/realtime/
In Monza Rally Show it is two Citroen WRC C4 leading the event with Capello and Sordo (+2.8"), third is Longhi (Focus WRC +7.1"), fourth Perico (Citroen Xsara WRC +7.5") and fifth another Citroen C4 WRC, Felice Re (+8.9"). So we see four Citroen's in top5, clearly same dominance as in Worldchampionship. ;)
Andreucci is clearly leading S2000 category and also 6th overall.
Great pics of night "stages" :)

nice time in ss3 from Araujo.Anybody knows what changes thiw X R4 has ?
http://www.monzanet.it/it/realtime/DDDA202.HTM
D'Aste ahead of Ucci
Circuit racing..
Impressive stage times from Felice Re-he is holding third position, first theree are C4's, same story as in the WRC.....
So with one stage left to go(before end of 2nd leg - after SS6)we have:
WRC: Sordo-Capello-Re
S2000: Ucci-Oppizzi-Villa
GT: D'Aste-Forato-Brega
What happened to Rox ??? :mark:
Edit: great race from Araujo with the new Mitsu R4 ;)
Sordo won Monza Rally Show ahead of Capello and Longhi
What happened to Re in the last stage(he was virtually third before retirement)
Fantistic victory in GT and 4th overall for D'Aste in his amazing Lotus ;)
About Ucci, well, guess what ??? :D
Very promising result for the new Mitsubishi Lancer EvoX in R4 class with Armindo Araujo(9th ovrall)
First I must congratulate to Dani Sordo, it is a small consolation for his not-so-successful WRC season, specialy the decision taken by Quesnel at the end that Sordo must pay for his future at Citroën...but that is another story.
Andrucci beat so many WRCs, yust the proof that he is in his life form. Unfortunately F.Re got some troubles with the engine in his C4 (smoke from the engine department), but better now as later at the final race in Fabaria-do not forget, TRA is still not decided yet, Re and Pedersoli are on the equal points....
But, could anybody explain to me, what happend on the penultimum stage between Re and Longhi-I've read on Italian forum about some racing ''misunderstanding'' between them, Re was very angry later over Longhi in the interview.....
At the end-yust the weather was so bad.....
veeeery interesting video with speed gun.Watch km/h in left hand corner in Sordo C4 and some lotus exiges also.

Just to show the level of competiton in Italy .... ;)

According to this list no more global crisis in Italy anymore.....This will ne pure spectacle, worth to see....Quote:

Here is the entry list:

Very special gift present from Felice Re to his son Alessandro-the young one will for the first time drive Xsara WRC. Quite a step from a small C2 Max. I hope this will also bring luck to Felice.....
Juha Kankkunen in a Ford Focus WRC at the Prealpi Mastershow ;)
Note young and promising driver Eddie Sciessere(usually on wheels of a Clio S1600)for the first time driving a...whale :p :
http://www.prealpimastershow.net/12/
Sad news from Sicily-rally Fabaria is canceled!
In the moment it is not clear, who the champion will be, because both Re and Pedersoli have equal points...Some say Pede is a champion (has one victory more), others are in favour of Re, because he won the last rally and accordind to the championship the last race should be with coefficient 1,5.
why? :confused:Quote:

Big worry around Abarth, Basso and Rox though...silence from everyone, rumour of the drivers quitting Fiat,... :s
Tomorrow is the Trofeo S2000 of the Bologna Motorshow
http://live.perugiatiming.com/motorshow/
Paolo Andreucci won the first race of the Trofeo S2000 at the Bologna Motorshow
But a certain Simone Campedelli on identical car(from Racing Lions)offered huge resistance and fails for almost nothing  could be interesting if in 2011 he drives that car on more events than programmed Monte-Carlo :)
Mikkelsen took part to the event in the Skoda in "preparation" of IRC 2011 and Aghini drove a Ford Fiesta S2000 ;)
Tomorrow 2nd race of the Trofeo S2000...
Note that in same time started the Findomestic Memorial Bettega for WRC, with Solberg brothers, Ogier, Hirvonen, Bugalski, Perico... :D
François Delecour is leading the Driver Rally Show by a margin o 22" after SS4 ahead of Claudio de Cecco and Nicola Patuzzo ;)

Aghini signed a contract with Errepi to drive Fiesta S2000 next season in TRT (Trofeo Rally Terra)-gravel championship. The old guy does not want to gave up....
