Sorry, Janusz, I can't say for certain but based on the seeding, if I really had to choose, I would go with "Piggy".Quote:

Not that the above is needed to identify him. I knew David from Finland in 74. I passed him on that 82 RAC on the last Kielder stage, having dropped into a ditch and still partly on the road. I was distracted, thinking I should pass a message that he just needed a push to get back on, and I ran wide on the next bend and rolled down an embankment...
Edit: crossed with previous post.
What about the BTCC? Given this is the touring car section, thats what should be being discussed...not some old rally cars

Donau Rally was planned as a round of ERC but there was disatster with Makes' Championship callendar as Monte Carlo and Coupe des Alpes were out of the championship as they allowed prototypes (no matter what that word means), so Donau was in short notice included to Makes' Championship. It is why I don't have Donau Rally on the ERC'69 list.

Donegal 77, 1st rally car I ever saw Billy Coleman's Chequered Flag Stratos, hooked on rallying since!!
Some were RESULTS : Rally Sweden 1968 - 1-10 th ,Rally Wisbaden 1968 - 6-10 th ,Rally Danube 1968 - 8-9 th ,Rally RAC 1968 - 1-10 th .
Pretty sure Sean Campbell GBR (only because I recall someone from IRL saying in 1972 he'd had to travel to the North to get a look at SC's Escort!).
Not that the FIA "GBR" is strictly correct for anyone from there!
