I have heard a lovely rumour from a very well connected person on the inside of the BTCC world that we could see a "Super" team next year all running in new BWM's - Turkington, Jackson and Jones!
It may not happen but imagine if it did? what a team WSR would have, very strong and a very youthful team.
Considering that Jackson has the title winning wtcc bmw of last year they can't all be new bmw's would be good if Jones got a seat his talents deserveQuote:

Xero Competition's cars are Super 2000-spec not BTC-T-spec. The life of the car is dependant on how much development they can get out of it. The Vauxhall Astra coupe was the best car for four years and a decent privateer car for another two. Of course Xero Competition don't have the resources Vauxhall do.Quote:

It will be a lot better this year.
New engine, new gearbox. new suspension, new diff and new plenum chamber, plus a lot more upgrades and development parts.

SeatFreak, i'm not sure how to answer some of your questions, but the car has the potential to be competitive, when we last ran, considering the budget and a driver not the best at feedback, we were chasing points finishes.
This year, with all the improvements and at least 1 driver who is excellent on feed back, i expect to be firmly and consisitantly in the top 10.
As for longevity, we plan to move on to the newer shape eventually, so there isn't really an answer.
Thing is, the Integra and ZS were very competitive cars from the start, whereas the Lexus has always struggled, so we probably haven't seen the best from it yet. Lets hope Xero can unleash it this season! Good luck tdb.Quote:
